Natalia Veselnitskaya, who organized the notorious Trump Tower meeting involving @DonaldJTrumpJr , Kushner, and others, has been named in an explosive Swiss court case about bribery, corruption, and GRU double-agents. thedailybeast.com/trump-tower-ru…
The Moscow operation behind the now-infamous Russian-Trump Tower meeting in June 2016 included a direct attempt to enlist a foreign country’s law-enforcement official as a virtual double-agent, according to a court case in Switzerland.
One of Switzerland’s top investigators has been fired after allegations of bribery, violating secrecy laws, and “unauthorized clandestine behavior” in meeting with the very same Russian actors linked to the Trump Tower encounter.
The meeting was set up by Russian Deputy Attorney General Saak Albertovich Karapetyan—from the same department that was responsible for offering intel on Hillary Clinton to be shared at the Trump Tower meeting and the Kremlin’s further plots to influence U.S. and EU politics.
In the case against K.—who had been entrusted with investigating the Swiss financial arrangements of the Russian mafia and oligarchs for decades—it emerged that he had previously met Karapetyan in Geneva and Zurich, as well as Russia “without the knowledge of his superiors.”
The interest of Veselnitskaya and the RU prosecutor general’s office is linked back to a $230 million tax fraud that was uncovered by Sergei Magnitsky, who discovered a massive financial crime that could be linked back to the Kremlin, he was jailed and beaten to death.
A large portion of those stolen funds are believed to have made their way into the Swiss banking sector, sparking investigations by Swiss authorities, including its federal police and the Swiss prosecutor’s office, both of which worked closely with K.
Alexander Perepilichnyy, a Russian businessman living near London, had tipped off Magnitsky about the role played by Switzerland in the international scam. A few weeks before he was due to give evidence at a hearing in Lausanne, he was assassinated. thedailybeast.com/killer-flower-…

New information shows that Deutsche Bank conducted ‘mirror trades’ to launder money for clients of a Russian company owned by Alexander Perepilichnyy, who was assassinated in Surrey, UK in 2012 ft.com/content/f13ae7…

"US spy agencies had handed the British government high-grade intelligence that the Russian whistleblower Alexander Perepilichnyy was likely assassinated on the direct orders of the Kremlin"
Russia’s Deputy Attorney General Saak Karapetyan, exposed for directing the foreign operations of Natalia Veselnitskaya, who met senior Trump campaign officials in 2016, has plummeted to his death in a helicopter crash during an unauthorized flight. thedailybeast.com/russian-offici…
Saak Karapetyan was intimately familiar with some of the most notorious operations carried out under the orders of Putin. He worked closely with Veselnitskaya as well as running some of Moscow’s most high-profile efforts to thwart international investigations into Russia crimes.
It is not known why experienced pilot Stanislav Mikhnov, 54, reportedly decided to take off after nightfall in adverse conditions without authorities’ approval. A third man, Arek Harutyunyan, was also killed. # Karapetyan
