One insidious, sneaky-but-in-your-face thing the left loves to do is change definitions. They can take any contentious issue and, by changing words, change the argument - change the narrative.
Probably the most common example is "pro-choice" replacing pro-abortion. Then, there are all the "reforms" - handgun "reform", immigration "reform", education "reform", etc, etc.
All of this wordplay - these euphemisms - are crafted so as to eventually change people's perception of the issue each describes. And they always do. Take "pro-choice", for instance.
The actual meaning, of course, is Pro-abortion. When the term "pro-choice" first came into use it was a term used solely by clear partisans. Until then, one was either for or against abortion. Realizing the negative connotation, the left changed the wording.
The media quickly picked up on the change. And now, 40 years on, even conservative politicians and pundits use "pro-choice" almost exclusively. It is still, and always has been, killing babies. And that gruesome fact is covered up, by design, in the popular vernacular.
But we all really need to stay on our toes and push back hard, from the get-go, on the newest word-play the left is attempting to foist on us :
Changing "accuser" to "survivor".
DO NOT allow them to put into your mouth the word that immediately convicts the accused. And do not allow them to get away with doing so themselves. When they refer to someone who is merely accusing someone of something...
...and where there has been no actual evidence produced, *correct* them.
The same goes for "Her truth". There is no such thing as one person's truth. Truth is universal.
In short, don't use their language. Doing so gives them power over you.
