Gemalto has apologised for publishing erroneous report on Aadhaar data breach. But why would a world class firm mislead the people of India? What has Gemalto to gain from it? Does Gemalto has stakes in #Aadhaar? Lets see which journalist has the courage to report this.
To understand whats really going on you must first know the background of Gemalto and where it comes from, that would bring things into clear perspective. Then we would address the Aadhaar issue and how the People of India is being mislead by UIDAI.

Neville Pattinson Vice President, Government affairs at Gemalto is board member of Smart Card Alliance a RFID industry group, also serving US Department of Homeland Security's Data Privacy & Integrity Advisory Committee - inchanrge of various Govts biometric programs like Aadhaar
Neville's job as part of DHS Team was to advise Secretary of Dept of Homeland Security, Michael Chertoff & DHS Chief Privacy Officer Hugo Teufel on programmatic, policy, operational, administrative & technological issues. So what does it mean for Aadhaar?…
In addition to Dept of Homeland Security, Gemalto VP Neville Pattinson is an active board member of both the International Biometric Industry Association (IBIA) and the Smart Card Alliance as well as a founding member of the Secure ID Coalition. What does this mean for Aadhaar?
It was Neville Pattinson, VP Gemalto's job as part of the DHS Team to assess these intel supplied by Embassy in India and recommend future course of action for the US Military strategists to follow wrt to biometric programs like Aadhaar that DHS is implementing worldwide.
So as part of this military exercise in 2011 (in works longtime) US Govt announced National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace and guess what, wait for it our fav VP of Gemalto Neville Pattinson is on board of NSTIC’s Identity Ecosystem Steering Group.
This Identity Ecosystem by US military NSTIC project is an online environment that will enable people to validate their identities & perform interaction & transactions. But that would require access to our Aadhaar database right? That is the mother of all questions.
Although readers of @GreatGameIndia are aware of various intelligence fronts involved in surveillance worldwide to whom UIDAI & GoI has sold our critical national resource with utter disregard to National Security, we will stick to Gemalto in this thread.
US intelligence agencies have created a National Security Inc in collaboration with multinational companies like Gemalto who have signed agreements under various Acts. It is official US Govt policy to use these companies to penetrate/influence Govts to launch biometric programs.
Even funding to launch & implement this US military worldwide biometric profiling projects in various nations like India & Pakistan was provided by CIA. A special vehicle In-Q-Tel was created for the purpose with whom UIDAI in partnership floated MangoDB.…
French daily L'Express has reported that Gemalto board member Alex Mandl was founding trustee of CIA funded venture capital firm In-Q-Tel. Mandl resigned from In-Q-Tel's board in 2002, when he was appointed CEO of Gemplus which later merged with another company to become Gemalto.
When caught pants down by #MacronLeaks the following public statement was drafted by Gemplus/Gemalto Director Ziad Takieddine (who happens to be known arms dealer and was denied entrance to UK). Says they were unaware of Mandl's links with CIA. Too bad @UIDAI cant claim ignorance
Do @UIDAI know Gemalto is a revolving door between CIA/DHS? Why didnt our intelligence agencies not flagged this firm? Or was intelligence bypassed as in case of blackisted DeLaRue printing our notes & many other cases pertaining to NatSec?…
Gemalto is part of World Bank’s eTransform Initiative (ETI) to gather biomterics from around the world turning nations into a giant surveillance hub. Yes @UIDAI is also a part of ETI & contracted Gemalto to implement DHS/CIA agenda. So who is really misleadinh people of India?
So how does Gemalto profit from this US military project? What is the goal of DHS/CIA/US Govt? Why is UIDAI and our own Indian Govt pushing it inspite of knowing well its dangers to security of our nation? Why is mainstream media silent about it? These are critical questions.
It was learnt recently (which should have been before contracting) that Gemalto products pose a serious security threat to Aadhaar ecosystem & hence all partners were advised to suspend using itd devices. So breach was from Gemalto itself. But why Gemalto/UIDAI not telling truth?
Now that GoI knows Gemalto poses a serious security threat, will it launch an inquiry & suspend all diplomatic passports as well issued by Gemalto under electronic passport program for diplomats? Will GoI act on this serious issue or SC have to be moved?…
