Lion Air flight JT610 flight telemetry tells a disturbing story (my opinion)... looks to have an issue with “lift” and maintaining altitude after initial takeoff. Climbs to around 5400 feet but can’t quite maintain that altitude.

Airspeed also widely fluctuates.
These are the last 4 data points for JT610 ... the last ping on the radar shows a massive altitude drop of over 1100 feet in 10 seconds... obviously something catastrophic happened at this point making recovery impossible most probably (my opinion)
All radar pings prior to the last 4, which matches the telemetry. This was a flight in trouble and likely should have been turned around... right now it’s impossible to know what was going on unfortunately. This is a sad and scary thing to review.
Satellite 🛰 weather loop over the region where Lion Air flight JT610 went down... weather is in the region, however the significant weather was hundreds of miles to the northeast and should not have been an issue.
Terminal vertical speed: 30,000ft/min

That’s 500ft/second DOWNWARD

Whatever happened, be it malfunctioning gauges, flaps or engines, the end result was a catastrophic failure of the aircraft and a very unpleasant ending. 🙏 RIP #JT610
