The Founding Fathers were not prophets.

The idea that they would be happy with this deeply unrepresentative electoral system is as bizarre to me as believing they intended the 2nd Amendment to include semi-automatic weapons.
In 1776, population of New York City was roughly 25,000.

The Founders would have put you in a strait jacket if you predicted back then that the population of New York City *alone* would be 9 million in 300 years time, more than double the entire population of America in 1790.
It's just truly bizarre how many on the right view them as oracles of some description like in The Matrix.

It should not be right that one party can have a double-digit win in the Popular Vote but end up losing 3 seats.
