Let me put my objective journalist cap on...*adjusts brim*...

Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions was a conspicuous streak mark on the underwear that is the Department of Justice. He once said he was having "a lot of fun" on the job. bit.ly/2ARQOay
He oversaw a Justice Department that did not shy away from using its limitless prosecutorial power to stifle critical political and social movements and retaliate against political figures it disagreed with.
Sessions defended migrant family separation policies; defended the controversial travel ban; opposed state efforts to legalize marijuana and rescinded the Cole Memorandum; and sued California over progressive immigration and criminal justice reform measures.
The person appointed to Attorney General is beholden to the people and the concept of justice. Sessions acted as if he was beholden only to his own thoughts and beliefs. Worse, he acted on his own thoughts and beliefs. That had significant consequences for millions of Americans.
