In response to Mr. STU
I, too, agree that the IRI must go.
About the MEK, I don’t ask anyone to consider this organization as their friend.
Yet, I oppose lies spread about them.
Please watch this video carefully.
For now, here’s an example of Iran lying about its ballistic missiles.
When they lie like this about their missile capability, rest assured they lie far worse about the MEK.
That narrative has been run by Iran’s regime & their supporters in the West.
To be fair, I suggest reading this about the MEK’s history.
I also suggest reading this by Ambassador Lincoln Bloomfield who has researched extensively about the MEK’s past.
This responds to the claim of the MEK killing Americans.
Especially this part:👇🏻
Yes, the MEK has killed senior IRI officials, but not in the Feb 1979-Jun1981 period. They took up arms against the mullahs after Khomeini ordered the IRGC to open fire on a peaceful demonstration on June 20, 1981.
And there is no solid proof showing the MEK helping Israel (and the US?) carry out drive-by killings of Iranian nuclear physicists.
Rest assured such propaganda is posted by Iran’s state media & leftist media in the West.
And regarding the State Dept labeling them as an FTO terrorist organization, it was published back in 1997 in LA Times that this was a “goodwill gesture” by the Clinton admin towards the Iranian regime.
A US Appeals Court ordered Obama’s State Dept to present evidence proving the MEK were terrorists. The State Dept delayed & delayed, having no such credible evidence, prompting the court to issue this ruling.
I also recommend this read by Prof. Raymond Tanter debunking many lies abou the MEK.
The Guardian article also cites a RAND report probably distributed widely in U.S. government institutions. I believe that was a paid-written report and it was debunked by this report.
The Guardian article cites Daniel Benjamin (as I mentioned in the thread).
I don’t think Benjamin should be considered a reliable unbiased voice!
As you mentioned the NCRI, I recommend reading these links about their history.
About the claim of the MEK & NCRI not having much support inside Iran, I bring your attention to these remarks by former US House speaker Newt Gingrich.
I believe the MEK does have roots & support inside Iran, especially since the Iranian regime has killed tens of thousands of their members & supporters inside Iran. please read below👇🏻
For example, Gholamreza Khosrawi.
Yes, the MEK was based in Iraq. But if they were funded by Saddam, they would have been destroyed or at least faded significantly after 2003.
And rest assured, if any US admin had evidence showing they were funded by Saddam, no US court would ever order their delisting from the State Dept FTO.
Thus, there is no such evidence.
They do have a vast network inside Iran, which they describe as “Resistance Units.”
A large number of texts & videos regarding their activities inside Iran is available on their website.
About the MEK’s long term goals, they don’t seek to run/dominate Iran after the mullahs’ overthrow. On what will come next, the NCRI has long ago presented its agenda once the IRI is overturned.
I also recommend visiting the NCRI website and looking at the “Issues” section.
I also recommend visiting the official website of NCRI President elect Maryam Rajavi and looking at the “Viewpoints” section.
I encourage you to please put a few minutes and also read below:

I hope I answered all your questions!
