JUST IN — Republican Rick Scott’s senate campaign filed motions in Broward & Palm Beach Counties, FL, to impound ballots & tallying machines when not in use until recount/lawsuits are done — putting them under police oversight.

Per motions below, they seek immediate hearings:
Sen. Bill Nelson fires back in a statement that Scott is only doing pursuing these lawsuit because "he's worried that when all the votes are counted he'll lose this election.”

The senate candidate wants an immediate hearing to put voting equipment in two counties under the watch of law enforcement amid a recount.

NEW — Court hearing scheduled for 10:30am Monday on whether to impound ballots, in Judge Tuter’s court at Broward Judicial Complex in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, according to lawyer for Brenda Snipes and Rick Scott campaign.
I don’t know at this point if there’s a hearing scheduled in Palm Beach County on the similar motion in the case against elections chief Susan Bucher.
This is updated with a THIRD lawsuit filed today by Republican Rick Scott over Florida's election.

He wants to stop counties from submitting any newly counted ballots to the state, saying a deadline has passed. (The law doest not seem clear.)
