UPDATE — Florida voting litigation thread.

Four more lawsuits are in federal court against Florida Sec. of State Detzner. @dscc calls to push back deadlines because the recounts won’t be done in time, saying voters would be disenfranchised.

DSCC also filed this case to count ballots with different markings & allow crossed out votes without "magic words."

This case was filed by several voters to preserve digital images of ballots.

Democratic State House District 89 candidate Jim Bonfiglio makes 5th and 14th Amendment claims against Detzner in state court, but Detzner is seeking to remove it into federal court:…
Meanwhile — Judge Mark Walker this morning told Gov. Scott's lawyers to file a brief by 9am Thurs. in case seeking to remove Scott from election process. Hearing tentatively set for tomorrow, but it will be canceled if no evidence dispute.

Finally, I'm off to in-person hearing in US District Court in Tallahassee in the case of Democrats suing over whether to count mail-in votes and provisional ballots with mismatched signatures. Judge Walker is presiding.

Background here:…
Got out of court in Tallahassee where Judge Walker held a FIVE HOUR hearing on whether to count mail-in votes and provisional ballots with mismatched signatures.
