Sexual assault is still an unfortunate by product of working in sex work and porn.

You can still get sexually assaulted on a feminist or ethical porn set.

Being ethical doesn't absolve you or automatically protect you from this "safety" of assault.…
"An article by Jezebel written by Tracy Clark-Flory denounces the lax attitudes of the French filmmaker Olympe de G. on several shootings produced by #ErikaLust.

...This is the reason why I wanted to talk with Romy about this notion of essential ethics in this industry."
She tells me that on a shoot she said she did not want any heterosexual relationship, simulated or not. Her character is a pretty shy girl, in love with a woman. No reason to end up facing the penis. Overall, this kind of event does not necessarily tarnish the overall performance
In the middle of the scene, camera on the move & all the team on the set, she finds herself "with the cock of the actor on her shoulder". This cock in itself, had nothing to do there. She reports this to the producer who makes her mea culpa but the reflection does not stop there.
For Romy, this undesired penis constitutes "male domination properly illustrated, unconscious of the evil it provokes". A man who felt free to put his dick on one's shoulder, breaking the limits of an official consent contract (material and moral).
She adds with determination that yes, on a shoot "the cock is political".

"There should always be someone who has an eye on the performers, at all times. Someone empathetic. The idea of such constant attention will help to fill the need to ward off & avoid breaches of consent.
The latter are still too present on shoots that protect themselves behind the sacrosanct etiquette of feminism".

I'm sorry to hear about Romy's experience and the experience of others who havent been able to share openly.
"Unfortunately; sexual assault seems to be a marker and an unfortunate "on the job" hazard when working in all genres of porn, which arent fully or well addressed. But rather brushed aside, which seems to continue to reinforce the cycle.”
What are @erikalust and other Feminist & ethical producers doing to ensure that they address these issues of sexual assault more seriously on their productions instead of sweeping it under the carpet.
Eg: in their contracts, leaving it as the performer's sole responsibility to address...

Shouldn't a "safe" set be the Production's (Producer's) highest responsibility and concern?
