My main problem with this piece is that leftist and centrist Jews have lead the charge against Farrakhan. This is not a "right wing issue," and leftist Jews were angry about the antisemitism of the Women's March leaders long before Bari Weiss published.
I am TIRED of people taking the aNtIzIoNiSt-NoT-aNtIsEmItIc camp's claims as objective fact when SO MANY Jews have consistently pointed out the patterns of antisemitism common in leftist circles.
At this point, literally nothing could convince people otherwise. The sanctity and purity of the antizionist cause is so absolute claims that would be laughed out of any other issue - "I have (minority) friends! I donated! I can't be bigoted!" - are swallowed wholesale.
@Jezebel needs to stop running cover for antisemites. That's really the long and short of it. They will not, because Jews are expendable and they know it.
In a world where we get surveys like this, maybe it's time to start believing Jews when we talk about the people who hate us.
Seriously. The more I read that article the more disgusted I am by its disingenuous chickenshit cowardice. If you hate Jews and think we whine too much as part of some plot, or that we're merely tools for sinister right wing conspiracies, @Jezebel, just fucking say so.
Draw some fucking battle lines. Better to be told to your face that they hate you than constantly gaslit by people who pretend to be allied to you.
I know it might blow some FUCKING MINDS but believe it or not, maybe Jews are just sick of leftist spaces praising people who portray fellow Jews - diaspora and Israeli both - as blood drinking subhuman monsters responsible for every human evil.
And - fuck it. I'll go there!

Blood libel myths always rely on two things: the utter monstrous perfidy of your villain, and the absolute purity and innocence of the murdered victim.
The repercussions of this on the Discourse I leave to your creative imaginations. I'm sure you get my drift.
Incidentally, the Unity Principles of the Women's March pointedly don't include Jewish women.

They DO include, and explicitly cite, Muslim women.

Tell us again how Farrakhan and Sarsour don't influence the national platform.
I mention this not because the lost should not include Muslim women - it's a requirement given their phrasing - but because it shows they pointedly and presumably deliberately excluded Jewish women. (As well as Asian-American women, Latinx women, etc, but details.)
Credit to many others who have brought this up before me; it's just in other mediums. I am not the originator of this. I'm just the messenger.
