As the election date draws closer, let's take a closer look at the lives and achievements of the men who have the best chance of besting these inept administrator. Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.

We'll start with Gov Peter Obi, here are some things you might not know about him.
Born 19th July 1961, he hails from Onitsha, Anambra state.

Education background includes; University of Nigeria Nsukka, Lagos Business School, Harvard Business School, London School of Economics, Columbia Business School USA, Institute Of Management Development Switzerland,
Kellogg Graduate School of Management USA, Oxford University and Cambridge University. His educational background shows that he's a well learned man, who attended to some of the best schools in the world. So let's move on to his business career.
He's was one of the self made wealthiest men in the SE, even before his political career begun. He was chairman of Next Intl Nigeria Ltd, Chairman and Director of Guardian Express Mortgage Bank Ltd, Guardian Express Bank Plc, Future view securities Ltd, he was also *youngest
chairman of Fidelity Bank Plc, amongst others and was appointment chairman of the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) by former Pres. GEJ, due to his transparent nature when it comes to financial issues. So, even before politics, he was a very successful professional.
Now, let's move on to politics.

He won his first election as governor of Anambra under a relatively unknown APGA party, these speaks well to his positive personality. The people voted him for who they knew he is, regardless party affiliations. And they were right.
Peter Obi operated a strict financial regime (as an accomplished finance professional), which halted unnecessary and wasteful spending and boosted savings for the state.

Now let's move on to family:

He's happily married Mrs Margaret Brownson Obi and has two children.
Gabrielle and Peter Oseloka Obi.

His personal net worth places him among the richest igbo men in the country.

Now to the best part: ACHIEVEMENTS. Which is something the current administration can't boast of which is why they are still "promising" ahead of a 2nd term election.
Did you know?

Anambra state under Governor Petee Obi, was the first state to commence Sub-Sovereign Wealth savings, the first of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa, at a time many other governors were leaving huge debts, he left $500M in investments.
He turned Anambra from *a pariah state blacklisted by Diplomatic Corps and international development partners (just like Buhari has done to Nigeria) into a state worthy of diplomatic visits by the HC of notable countries like the USA, Britain, Netherlands and Canada among others.
★Developmental partners such as UNDP, UNICEF, World Bank, DFID, the EU, which hitherto werw not in Anambra before his tenure started working with the state. Anambra was consistently adjudged one of the best states in developmental partnership and good governance.
★He was recognised as best governor by OSSAP-MDGs and UNDP in the implementation of their programs in Nigeria.

★The Nigerian Debt Mgt office DMO rated Anambra as least indebted state in Nigeria. In spite of visible and measurable achievements recorded in several sectors
of the state (listen to this) THE STATE UNDER HIM DID NOT BORROW OR RAISE BONDS TO FINANCE HER VARIOUS PROJECTS. He instead put his elite business acumen into good use to make these achievements possible. We have to prefer that over a man that has had the 150 cows since forever.
★Also, The Nigerian Senate rated Anambra as the most financially stable state.

★His policies on education helped Anambra move from 24/36 states to 1/36 for 3 consecutive years in both NECO and WAEC, which made the World Bank to commission a study led by the renowned professor
Paul Collier of Oxford University on this phenomenal and revolutionary achievement.

★ Through partnership with voluntary agencies and a $50 million grant made available for such agencies, his government funded the transformation of

- Iyienu Hospital, Ogidi
- Our lady of Lourdes Hospital, Iyiala
- St Charles Borromeo Hospital, Onitsha
- St Joseph Hospital, Adazi- Nnukwu
where heart operations are now being performed. These partnerships led to a big boost in the health sector in Anambra state.

★ His government also won the
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation ($1,000,000) as best performing state in immunisation in the SE. With complementary money from his government, 10 maternal and child care centers were built across the state particularly in rural communities in partnership with voluntary agencies
★The state was also first to procure and distribute more than 30,000 computers to secondary schools. Where one of the managing directors of HP Mr Fabrice Campoy described the event as the biggest of such in Middle-East and Africa.
★Anambra state under his leadership also provided Microsoft Academies to more than 500 secondary schools, which Head of Microsoft in Africa also described as the biggest of such deployment in Africa so far.
★ The state also provided internet access to more than 500 secondary schools which the CEO of Galaxy Backbone Mr Gerald Ilukwe characterized as incomparable to any other country.
★More than 700 buses were provided for secondary schools in the state under his administration.

★Boreholes were provided in schools all over the state.

★Numerous classrooms were built in 177 communities in the state.
★His government also attracted foreign investment into the state one of which is SABMiller the 2nd largest bewery in the world which built their first Greenfield facility in the state which today is one of the most successful facilities they operate worldwide.
Other companies also followed suit and were encouraged to do their business in the state, one of which is INNOSON motors which the government bought 1000 vehicles from.
His government also for the 1st time in the state started working closely with security agencies, providing them with support and equipments, including 500 security vehicles, the security in the state was such the the IGP Abubakar Mohammed lauded the Anambra state for not
witnessing any bank robberies i. 3 whole years. To further enhance security, his government provided at least one security vehicle to all 177 communities, including organizations such as churches and markets.
★ His govt conceived from a scratch the first state owned teaching hospital Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu teaching hospital, Awka.
I'm tired of typing but i must go on, when we bring to bare the faults of our leaders we must also shine the light on the accomplishments of the few good ones.
★ His government attracted the World Bank support on erosion and watershed management project to Anambra state.

★His Government was the first to do Poverty Mapping in Nigeria, as a guide for the effective implementation of our poverty-alleviation strategies.
★ During his tenure with his government support, Anambra became an oil producing state.

★ He built the first secretariat Complex to house State Government Ministries that were hitherto scattered around the state.
★By the end of his tenure in 2014, more than 12 health institutions, including 2 hospitals, had secured accreditation, at the beginning of his tenure in 2006, no health institution in Anambra was duly accredited.
★ Anambra was also the first to undergo national peer review, which scrutinized state Governments for good governance, through the State Peer Review Mechanism an initiative of the Governors forum in collaboration with DFID
★ Governor Peter Obi has his people still call him even though his not the governor anymore did all these and more which I'm too tired to go into without living the state in debt or borrowing and instead handed over a positive account.
So tell me why, i mean any reason why i should not vote for any party that wants to use these man's elite governance skill to build our country and #GetNigeriaWorkingAgain
I also hope with these few points i have been able to convince you that your vote should go to the party that has these great man on the ballot, the @OfficialPDPNig . So we can #GNWA in an #Atikulated manner. For the good of these country vote #AtikuObi2019 @gnwa2019
