Happy Friday everyone! For your reading pleasure, I've got another #StolenValor fraud to bring to you tonight. I'm happy to introduce you to Dale Culpepper.
Dale came to me via @armyguyJustin , a verified Army Captain. You see, apparently Dale wanted to compare d*ck size with Justin, so he brought up all the bad guys he dirt napped in Somalia (as a helicopter pilot?) during the infamous "Blackhawk Down" incident
You really couldn't pick a worse incident to bullsh*t about than that one, since virtually everyone involved was SOCOM and they wrote a book and made a f*cking movie about it. So I gave Dale a chance to "amend" his claim. Naturally, no response
One thing that caught my eye was the pic of a UH-1 Huey in his profile. Maybe I'm a goof, but I'd assume that a pilot would use a pic of the aircraft he flew. If there's 1 thing we know about Mogadishu, it's that there were no UH-1's there
So, we decided to dig deeper on "Dale" and found the same pics on a FB account. Surprise, Dale is actually Greg
Or more accurately Gregory Dale
So, I started looking at some of Dale, I mean Greg's old tweets, and sure enough he claims to be a Chief Warrant Officer 3 helicopter pilot, and can apparently put out fires with them
Well, I did confirm that Greg has a commercial pilot's license. As for putting out fires, I have no idea
Now that I had his full name and birthday, I decided to check SCRA for service at the exact time of the Battle of Mogadishu. Well, you can see for yourself, no record found
I did however check previous years and found this. Surprise! He was a Reservist. This made the pic of the UH-1 make sense now, since the Reserves were flying them long after the Regular Army dumped them for the UH-60 Blackhawk
During my search I also found that Greg worked as a civilian for the Army Corps of Engineers. He was even featured in an article for a Virginia Newspaper
But then I ran across this. Say what? If he was fired on the day that he posted this, that means he was at the Army Corps literally DAYS after the battle where he dirt napped all those Somalis
Apparently he's got a pretty big beef with them
It's a REALLY BIG beef
Now, I don't know whether Greg was actually a pilot in the Reserves or Air Guard, but I know one thing for sure, he wasn't flying in Somalia. Greg, you are #StolenValor, and I believe that you owe @armyguyJustin an apology
Thanks to my researcher for their help in this. If @MilitaryPhonies or @ThisAintHell would like to follow this up with an FOIA, I will provide all the unredacted docs in DM. My DM's are open if interested
