okay, BF off to work:

Let's talk about why everything you know about the rise of Hitler and the transformation of Nazi Germany is basically yet another lie designed to protect rich, western fascists:
First - the Treaty of Versailles; this entire theory is bunk because war reparations are not what made Germany's economic go bust and in most cases, Germany simply refused to pay.

Elite industrialists and aristocrats just took more money and said "the French did this to you"
The Economy - well, Britain had the same economic problems and THEY didn't produce a Hitler. France had WORSE economic problems and THEY didn't produce a Hitler. Most of Europe suffered the same hyper inflation Germany did - only 1 Hitler.

So that doesn't hold much water either.
So, what really caused the Nazi Party? To understand that you need to go back to the Germany that formed after Bismark's unity project - you need to drill down into what German society was like from about 1880 to 1920, the period that essentially produced Hitler
The first thing you need to understand is the utter predominance of scientific racism in German society - these people fell fucking HARD for Charles Darwin and the (already racist) academics in Germany were the ones who opened up Darwins theories to humans and societies.
The second thing you need to understand is that Germany had ALREADY been taught to perceive itself as the most powerful country in Europe, and there were decades of rhetoric about how France in particularly, was suppressing Germany's true power and keeping her from ruling Europe
This is important because it ties into the next cause of Nazism - the colonial question.

You see as Johnny-come-lately in Europe, the Germans weren't a big part of the colonial project and that burned their ass something fierce. Eventually they FORCED Bismark to (ct)
Colonize parts of Africa - he considered it a waste of power and money; you need to understand from the German people's perspective tho - it was a question of national pride. All of these "weaker" empires had colonies and they were getting rich, why not Germany?
So now, you have a colonial project in Africa, and you need to justify the brutality it takes to run a colony - the first death camp wasn't Auschwitz, it was Shark Island. Furthermore, these ideas, about scientific racism are peculating in the German social discourse.
We're not talking random racists in the streets - we're talking influential German academics, composers, political figures, the leading lights of German society have gone head over heels for Darwinism and twisted that (didn't take much twisting) to a social, or racial cause.
So, after colonizing Africa (and while Bismark is STILL bleeding money for colonies he doesn't want) the German people, again, lead by these respected revanchists, DEMAND that the Kaiser ALSO colonize "the Slavs"

which by this they mean eastern Europe.
So... there is the important break, did you see it?

In traditional Western racism, the "lesser races" are all non-white, but Germans wanted Poland for their own as a colony so now you had to shift that dehumanization, scientific racism, colonial project to... white people.
So now you're adding the Slavs, to the Africans and to the Jews (anti antisemitism was already fucking INSANE in Germany before Darwin came along; social Darwinism just gave them an excuse to paint Jews up to look like apes) - you've ALREADY created a culture of Master & Slave
And all of this happens, decades before Hitler. DECADES.

So, what's next? Ok, Bismark is fired, Germany enters WW1, loses, loses all of it's colonies and Germany is left to sit and spin; but those ideas of racial superiority, master and servant, conqueror and colony didn't LEAVE
They were already ingrained into the culture.

Here, let me post a quote that's important for the conclusion coming up here:
So, from this quote, we can see that rather than being one unified movement, Nazism started like we are right now - a million nutjob right wing extremists groups, whose only shared belief was racial superiority, being joined together and controlled by rich fascists.
In short, Hitler didn't "rise" and bring Nazisim with him.

Nazism was PURPOSELY introduced, slowly, over a 40 year period, to the German political discourse.

Hitler, Goebbels and the boys just came along and hijacked it at a moment of weakness in Germany govt.
and why were you told this lie, along with so many other lies, like say "Hitler was a magical speaking man and Germany was under a trance?"

Simple - social Darwinism was also extremely popular in the west, most of our elites ARE basically fascists and the TRUTH of Hitler (ct)
puts the responsibility on German elites, professionals and academics (and their myriad of racist academic supporters in Britain and to a lesser degree France)...

this is completely unacceptable to the Western power structure so they make up a little story "the Germans went mad"
Which also makes it easier to welcome Germany back into the western fold in the post war period....

as a US client state.
Tada.

How Hitler.
I guess I should add the following:

It's extremely important to understand how the history of Germany helped introduce, reinforce and popularize these social Darwinist ideas, fierce nationalism and a sense of superiority/rightful claim to rule Europe.
As a nation, Germany didn't just come into being - it was formed. To do that, Bismark had to introduce rabid nationalism into the German political discourse.
As SOON as Germany was formed, the rest of Europe freaked out and ganged up on them - and with good reason, Bismark wanted France.

So do you see? You already, at the time of Bismark or soon after his rise to power, have DEEP nationalist and "stabbed in the back" myths (ct)
forming the backbone of Germany political/national identity.

This ALREADY exists BEFORE you introduce social Darwinism, which itself reignites latent, over-the-top German antisemitism.

And all of this is happening well before anyone knows who Hitler is.
Then, you get the German colonial project, which heightens the racial superiority and Social Darwinism aspects even more.
Then Germany loses WW1; loses it's colonies, and the stabbed in the back mythos, the idea that Europe is against Germany so it's okay for Germany to be against Europe, grows.
In essence, the German "national identity" was purely a construct, and that construct was built with the exact ingredients, Hitler would eventually use to form the Third Reich, invade 3/4 of Europe and launch the Holocaust.
