#Spygate: The True Story of Collusion How the United States of America's most powerful agencies were weaponized Against President @realDonaldTrump during 2016 Election & Today

Worst Scandal of Government Corruption since Watergate

Read Complete Details: matthewcogdeill.blogspot.com/2018/12/spygat…
1) Although the details remain complex, the structure underlying #Spygate—the creation of the FALSE narrative that candidate @realDonaldTrump colluded with Russia, and the spying on his presidential campaign—remains surprisingly simple: 👇Thread to Follow below👇
1. CIA Director John Brennan, with some assistance from Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, gathered foreign intelligence and fed it throughout our domestic Intelligence Community.
2. The FBI became the handler of John Brennan’s intelligence and engaged in the more practical elements of surveillance.
3. The Department of Justice facilitated investigations by the FBI and legal maneuverings, while providing a crucial shield of nondisclosure.
4. The Department of State became a mechanism of information dissemination and leaks.
5. Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee provided funding, support/Aid, and media collusion.
6. Barack Hussein Obama administration officials were complicit, and engaged in unmasking and intelligence gathering and dissemination.
7. The media was the most corrosive element in many respects. None of these events could have transpired without their willing participation. Stories were pushed, facts were ignored, and narratives were promoted.
9) Let’s start with a simple premise: The Presidential candidacy of @realDonaldTrump presented both an opportunity and a threat. Initially not viewed with any real seriousness, Trump’s campaign was seen as an opportunistic wedge in the election process.
10) At the same time, and particularly as the viability of @realDonaldTrump Presidential candidacy increased, Donald Trump was seen as an existential threat to the Established political system in the U.S. And around the World.
11) Legitimacy of @realDonaldTrump’s candidacy was not welcomed by U.S. political establishment. Here was True political outsider who held no allegiances. He is brash & boastful, he ignores political correctness, he couldn’t be bought & he didn’t care what others thought of him
12) Governing bodies in Britain & European Union were worried. Candidate Trump was openly challenging monetary policy, regulations & power of special interests. He challenged Congress. He challenged UN & EU. He questioned everything. UN & the EU said "He questioned everything"
13) CIA Director John Brennan on March 13, 2015. Brennan played a crucial role in the creation of the Russia-collusion narrative & the spying on @realDonaldTrump campaign. John Brennan became the point man in the operation to stop a potential Donald J Trump presidency.
#SpyGate
14) John Brennan took unofficial foreign intelligence compiled by contacts, colleagues, & associates—primarily from the UK, but also from other Five Eyes members, such as Australia.

As reported: theepochtimes.com/the-uk-and-aus…
15) Individual in official positions in UK intelligence, such as Robert Hannigan—head of UK Govt Communications HQ (GCHQ, Britain’s equivalent of NSA)—partnered with UK foreign intelligence members. MI6 head Sir Richard Dearlove, Ambassador Sir Andrew Wood & UK intel firm Hakluyt
as reported in full details so that you can be caught up to speed on the #Spygate collusion of the Top U.S. Agencies and EU, UK, UN Agencies

themarketswork.com/2018/05/20/sir…
16) 2016, Hannigan traveled to D.C. to meet Brennan regarding alleged communications between Trump campaign & Moscow. On Jan. 23, 2017—3 days after Trump’s inauguration—Hannigan announced his retirement. Hannigan’s resignation was directly related to sharing of UK intelligence.
17) One method used to help establish evidence of collusion was employment of “#SpyGate traps.” Prominent among these were ones set for Trump campaign advisers George Papadopoulos & Carter Page. Intent was to provide or establish connections between the Trump campaign & Russia.
18) The content & context mattered little as long as a connection could be established that could then be publicized. The June 2016 Trump Tower meeting was another such attempt to entrap @realDonaldTrump

#SpyGate
19) Western intelligence assets were used to initiate & establish these connections, particularly in cases of Papadopoulos & Page. Ultimately, Brennan formed inter-agency task force comprising an estimated 6 agencies &/or govt depts......#SpyGate
20) FBI, IRS, Treasury & DOJ handled domestic inquiry into @realDonaldTrump & Possible Russia connections. The CIA, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, & the National Security Agency (NSA) handled foreign and intelligence aspects.

Sources: bbc.com/news/world-us-…
21) John Brennan’s inter-agency task force is not to be confused with the July 2016 FBI counterintelligence investigation, which was formed later at Brennan’s urging.
22) Brennan employed use of reverse targeting, which relates to targeting of a foreign individual with the intent of capturing data on a U.S. citizen. This effort was uncovered & made public by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) in March 2017 press conference:
theepochtimes.com/did-brennan-ad…
23) “I have seen intel reports that clearly show Trump & his team were monitored & disseminated out in intel-reporting. Details about persons associated with incoming admin, details with little foreign-intelligence value were widely disseminated in intel community reporting."
24) “From what I know right now, it looks like incidental collection. We don’t know exactly how that was picked up but we’re trying to get to the bottom of it.” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes

25) Foreign intel—unofficial & outside of any traditional channels—gathered, Brennan began process of feeding his intel to FBI. Repeated transfers of foreign intel from CIA director pushed FBI toward establishment of formal counter-intel investigation.

17) “I made sure that anything that was involving U.S. persons, including anything involving the individuals involved in the @realDonaldTrump campaign, was shared with the [FBI].” Former CIA Director John Brennan Said under Oath in front of Congress
18) John Brennan admitted that his intel helped establish FBI investigation: “I was aware of intel & info about contacts between Russian officials & U.S. persons that raised concerns in my mind about whether or not those individuals were cooperating with Russians...
#MichaelCohen
19) "either in a witting or unwitting fashion & it served as basis for FBI investigation to determine whether such collusion [or] cooperation occurred”

This Admission from Brennan is important, as no official intel was used to open FBI’s investigation: themarketswork.com/2018/04/22/nun…
20) Once FBI began its counterintelligence investigation on July 31, 2016, John Brennan shifted his focus. Through a series of meetings in August & September 2016, John Brennan informed the congressional Gang of 8 regarding intel & info he had gathered.
21) Notably, each Democrat Gang of Eight members was briefed separately, calling into question whether each of the democrats received the same information. Efforts to block the release of the transcripts from each meeting remain ongoing.
22) The last segment of Brennan’s efforts involved a series of 3 reports & greater participation from Clapper. The 1st report, “Joint Statement from Dept Of Homeland Security & Office of Director of National Intelligence on Election Security” Oct. 7, 2016 dhs.gov/news/2016/10/0…
23) The second report by John Brennan, “GRIZZLY STEPPE —Russian Malicious Cyber Activity,” was released on Dec. 29, 2016.

us-cert.gov/sites/default/…
24) The third Brennan report, “Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent U.S. Elections”—also known as the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA)—was released on Jan. 6, 2017. dni.gov/files/document…
25) This final report was used to continue pushing the Russia-collusion Narrative following the election of President @realDonaldTrump. Notably, Admiral Mike Rogers of the NSA publicly dissented from the findings of the ICA, assigning only a moderate confidence level.
26) FBI is technically part of DOJ, it is best for this article that FBI & DOJ be viewed as separate entities, each with its own related ties. FBI itself was comprised of various factions, with particularly active element that has come to be known as “Insurance policy group.”
27) led by FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe & comprised other notable names such as FBI agent Peter Strzok, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, & FBI general counsel James Baker. FBI established counter-intel investigation into alleged Russia collusion with Trump campaign on July 31, 2016.
28) Comey initially refused to say whether FBI was investigating possible connections between members of Trump campaign & Russia. He would continue to refuse to provide answers until March 20, 2017, when he disclosed existence of FBI investigation during congressional testimony.
29) Comey also testified that he did not provide notification to Gang of 8 until early March 2017—less than 1 month earlier. This admission was in stark contrast to actions taken by Brennan, who had notified members of Gang of Eight individually during August & September 2016
30) It’s likely that Brennan never informed Comey that he had briefed the Gang of 8 in 2016. James Comey did note that the DOJ “had been aware” of the investigation all along.
31) Former FBI Director James Comey on June 8, 2017. Comey opened the counterintelligence investigation into Trump on the urging of CIA Director John Brennan.
32) FBI’s formal involvement with Steele dossier began on July 5, 2016, when Mike Gaeta, an FBI agent & assistant legal attaché at US Embassy in Rome, was dispatched to visit former MI6 spy Christopher Steele in London.
archive.org/details/Dossie…
33) Gaeta would return from this meeting with a copy of Steele’s first memo. This memo was given to Victoria Nuland at the State Department, who passed it along to the FBI.
34) Gaeta, who also headed the FBI’s Eurasian Organized Crime unit, had known Steele since at least 2010, when Steele had provided assistance to the FBI’s investigation into the FIFA corruption scandal.
espn.com/espn/feature/s…
35) Prior to London meeting, Gaeta may also have met on a less formal basis with Steele several weeks earlier. “In June, Steele flew to Rome to brief the FBI contact with whom he had cooperated over FIFA,”“His information started to reach bureau in Washington.”
36) It’s worth noting that there was No “dossier” until it was fully compiled in Dec 2016. There was only a sequence of documents from Steele—documents that were passed on individually—as they were created. Therefore, from FBI’s legal perspective, they didn’t use the dossier.
37) Next month & half there appeared to be little contact between Steele & FBI. However, FBI’s interest in dossier suddenly accelerated in August 2016, when FBI asked Steele “for all info in his possession & for him to explain how material had been gathered and to ID his sources”
38) Sept 2016, Steele traveled to Rome to meet with FBI’s Eurasian squad once again. That meeting included several other FBI officials as well. According to House Intel Committee minority memo, Steele’s reporting reached FBI counter-intel team in Sept 2016
intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/…
39) Reason for FBI’s renewed interest had to do with adviser to Trump campaign—Carter Page—who had been in contact with Stefan Halper, CIA & FBI, since July 2016. Halper arranged to meet with Page for 1st time July 11, 2016, at Cambridge, 3 days after Page took trip to Moscow.
40) Speakers at Cambridge symposium included Madeleine Albright, Vin Webber, & Sir Richard Dearlove, the former head of MI6. Page was now FBI’s chosen target for a FISA warrant that would be obtained on Oct. 21, 2016.
crassh.cam.ac.uk/events/26818
41) The Steele dossier would be the primary evidence used in obtaining the FISA warrant, which would be renewed three separate times, including after President @realDonaldTrump took office, finally expiring in September 2017.

intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/…
42) After contact with Page for 14 months, Halper stopped contact as final FISA warrant on Page expired. Page, has maintained his innocence, was never charged any crime by FBI. Efforts for declassification of Page FISA app are ongoing through DOJ’s Office of Inspector General.
43) Peter Strzok & Lisa Page were 2 prominent members of FBI’s “insurance policy” group. Strzok, senior FBI agent, was deputy assistant director of FBI’s Counterintelligence Division. Lisa Page, an FBI lawyer, served as special counsel to FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
44) Strzok was in charge of investigation of Hillary Clinton use of private email server for govt business. He helped FBI Director James Comey draft statement exonerating Clinton & personally responsible for changing wording within statement that reduced Clinton’s legal liability
45) Specifically, Strzok changed words “grossly negligent,” which could be a criminal offense, to “extremely careless” Strzok also personally led FBI’s counter-intel investigation into alleged Trump–Russia collusion & signed documents that opened investigation on July 31, 2016
46) Strzok was one of FBI agents who interviewed Trump’s national security adviser, Gen. Michael Flynn. Strzok met multiple times with DOJ official Bruce Ohr & received information from Steele at those meetings.
47) firing of FBI Director James Comey, Strzok would join team of special counsel Robert Mueller. 2 months later, he was removed after DOJ IG discovered series of texts between Strzok & Page contained politically charged messages. Strzok would be fired from FBI in August 2018.
48) Both Strzok & Page engaged in strategic leaking to the press. Page did so at the direction of McCabe, who directly authorized Page to share information with @WSJ reporter Devlin Barrett.

oig.justice.gov/reports/2018/o…
49) That information was used in an Oct. 30, 2016, article headlined “FBI in Internal Feud Over Hillary Clinton Probe.” Page leaked to Barrett thinking she had been granted legal and official authorization to do so.

wsj.com/articles/lapto…
50) McCabe initially denied providing such authorization to Office of IG.

Page, when confronted with McCabe’s denials, produced texts refuting his statement. It was these texts that led to the inspector general uncovering texts between Strzok & Page.

oig.justice.gov/reports/2018/o…
51) Thousands of texts, some indicating surveillance activities, over a 2-year period. Texts sent between Aug. 21, 2015 & June 25, 2017, have been made public.

The series comes to end with final text by Page telling Strzok, “Don’t ever text me again”

hsgac.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/…
53) On Aug. 8, 2016, Stzrok wrote that they would prevent candidate @realDonaldTrump from becoming president:

Page: ”[Trump is] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!”
Strzok: ”No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it.”

hsgac.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/…
54) Aug. 15, 2016, Strzok text referring “insurance policy”:

“I want to believe path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office—that there’s no way Trump gets elected—I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like insurance policy in unlikely event you die before you’re 40”
55) The “insurance policy” appears to have been the effort to legitimize the Trump–Russia collusion narrative so that an FBI investigation, led by McCabe, could continue unhindered.
56) The Department of Justice, which comprises 60 agencies, was transformed during the Barack Hussein Obama years. The department is forbidden by federal law from hiring employees based on political affiliation.

justice.gov/agencies
57) However, a series of investigative articles by PJ Media published during Eric Holder’s tenure as attorney general revealed an unsettling pattern of ideological conformity among new hires at the DOJ: Only lawyers from the progressive left were hired.

pjmedia.com/every-single-o…
58) Not one single moderate or conservative lawyer made the cut. This is significant as the Department of Justice enjoys significant latitude in determining who will be subject to prosecution.
59) The DOJ’s job in #Spygate was to facilitate the legal side of surveillance while providing a protective layer of cover for all those involved. The DOJ became a repository of info & provided a protective wall between the investigative efforts of FBI & legislative branch.
60) Importantly, it also served as the firewall within the Executive branch, serving as the insulating barrier between the FBI & Barack Hussein Obama officials. The Department of Justice had become legendary for its stonewalling tactics with Congress.
61) Department of Justice Official Bruce Ohr on Aug. 28, 2018. Bruce Ohr passed on information from Christopher Steele to the FBI.
62) The DOJ, which was fully aware of the actions being taken by James Comey & the FBI, also became an active element acting against members of the @realDonaldTrump campaign.
63) Deputy AG Sally Yates, along with Mary McCord, the head of the DOJ’s National Security Division, was actively involved in efforts to remove Gen. Michael @GenFlynn from his position as national security adviser to President @realDonaldTrump .

themarketswork.com/2018/05/12/gra…
64) To this day, it remains unknown which individual was responsible for making public Flynn’s call with the Russian ambassador. Flynn ultimately pleaded guilty to a process crime: lying to the FBI.
65) There have been questions raised in Congress regarding the possible alteration of FD-302s, the written notes of Flynn’s FBI interviews. Special counsel Robert Mueller has repeatedly deferred Flynn’s sentencing hearing.

grassley.senate.gov/sites/default/…
66) David Laufman, deputy assistant attorney general in charge of counterintelligence at DOJ’s National Security Division, played a key role in both the Hilary Clinton Private email server & Russia hacking investigations.
67) David Laufman is currently the attorney for Monica McLean, the long-time friend of Christine Blasey Ford, who recently accused Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her while in high school.

Coincidence ?🤔
68) Monica McLean was also employed by the FBI for 24 years. Bruce Ohr was a significant DOJ official who played a key role in #Spygate. Ohr held 2 important positions at DOJ: associate deputy AG & director of Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force.

theepochtimes.com/what-the-media…
69) As associate deputy AG, Bruce Ohr was just four offices away from then-Deputy AG Sally Yates & he reported directly to her. As director of task force, he was in charge of a program described as “the centerpiece of the AG’s drug strategy.”

foxnews.com/politics/top-d…
70) Ohr, was communicating on an ongoing basis with Steele, whom he had known since 2006, well into mid-2017. He is married to Nellie Ohr, expert on Russia & Eurasia who works for Fusion GPS. Nellie Ohr played a significant role in construction of dossier.
theepochtimes.com/2015-employmen…
71) Testimony from FBI agent Peter Strzok, he & Ohr met 5 times during 2016 & 2017. Strzok was working directly with then-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe. Bruce Ohr met with FBI 12 times between late November 2016 & May 2017 for a series of interviews.

theepochtimes.com/what-the-media…
72) These meetings used to transmit info from Steele to FBI. This came after FBI had formally severed contact with Steele in late October or early November 2016. John Carlin was assistant AG & head of DOJ’s National Security Division until October 2016.

theepochtimes.com/rep-issa-bruce…
73) Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe held a pivotal role in what has become known as “#Spygate.” He directed activities of Peter Strzok & Lisa Page & was involved in all aspects of the Russia investigation. He was also mentioned in “insurance policy” text message.
74) On April 26, 2017, Rosenstein found himself appointed as new deputy AG. He was placed into a somewhat chaotic situation, as Attorney General Jeff Sessions had recused himself from the ongoing Russia investigation a little less than two months earlier, on March 2, 2017.
75) This meant that no 1 in Trump admin had any oversight of ongoing investigation conducted by FBI & DOJ. Then-FBI Director James Comey was under scrutiny as result of actions taken leading up to & following election, particularly Comey’s handling of Clinton email investigation.
76) On May 9, 2017, Rosenstein wrote a memorandum recommending that Comey be fired. The subject of memo was “Restoring Public Confidence in FBI.” Comey was fired that day. McCabe was now acting director of FBI & was immediately under consideration for the permanent position.
77) On the same day James Comey was fired, Andrew McCabe would lie during an interview with agents from FBI’s Inspection Division (INSD) regarding apparent leaks that were used in an Oct. 30, 2016, Report “FBI in Internal Feud Over Hillary Clinton Probe” by Devlin Barrett.
78) This would later be disclosed in IG report, “A Report of Investigation of Certain Allegations Relating to Former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe.” Nobody, including INSD agents, knew that McCabe had lied, nor were darker aspects of McCabe’s role in #Spygate fully known.
79) McCabe opened federal criminal investigation on Sessions, regarding potential lack of candor before Congress in relation to Sessions’s contacts with Russians. Sessions was unaware of investigation. Sessions would later be cleared of any wrongdoing by Robert Mueller.
80) On May 16, 2017, Rosenstein reportedly suggested to McCabe that he secretly record President @realDonaldTrump . This from now-fired McCabe, along with testimony taken from former FBI general counsel James Baker, who relayed a conversation he had with McCabe about occurrence.
81) Comments by Rosenstein at meeting where McCabe was “pushing for DOJ to open investigation into @POTUS” unnamed participant at meeting, framed conversation differently, noting Rosenstein responded sarcastically to McCabe, “What do you want to do, Andy, wire the president?”
82) Same day Rosenstein had meetings with McCabe, President Trump met with Mueller, as interview for FBI director job. On May 17, 2017 day after President Trump’s meeting with Mueller—& day after Rosensteins encounters with McCabe—Rosenstein appointed Mueller as special counsel.
83) The May 17 appointment of Mueller in effect shifted control of Russia investigation from the FBI & McCabe to Mueller. Rosenstein would retain ultimate authority for the probe & any expansion of Mueller’s investigation required authorization from Rosenstein.
84) Interestingly, without Comey’s memo leaks, special counsel might not have been appointed— FBI, & possibly McCabe would have remained in charge of Russia investigation. McCabe was probably not going to become permanent FBI director, but he was reportedly under consideration.
85) On July 28, 2017, McCabe lied to Inspector General Michael Horowitz while under oath regarding authorization of the leaking to The @WSJ . At this point, Horowitz knew McCabe was lying, but did not yet know of the May 9 INSD interview with McCabe.
86) On Aug. 2, 2017, Rosenstein secretly issued Mueller a revised memo on “the scope of investigation & definition of authority” that remains heavily redacted. The full purpose of this memo remains unknown. On this same day, Christopher Wray was named as the new FBI director.
87) on Aug. 4, 2017, Sessions announced FBI created new leaks investigation. Rosenstein & Wray tasked with overseeing all leak investigations. Aug. 2 memo from Rosenstein to Mueller been specifically designed to remove any residual FBI influence—from the Russia investigation
88) The appointment of Wray as FBI director helped cement this. McCabe was finally completely neutralized.

On March 16, 2018, McCabe was fired for lying under oath at least three different times & is currently the subject of a grand jury investigation.
89) The State Dept, with its many contacts within foreign govts, became conduit for flow of info. Transfer of Christopher Steele’s 1st dossier memo was personally facilitated by Victoria Nuland, assistant secretary of state for European & Eurasian affairs.
washingtontimes.com/news/2018/mar/…
90) Victoria Nuland gave approval for FBI agent Michael Gaeta to travel to London to obtain the memo from Steele. The memo may have passed directly from her to FBI leadership. Secretary of State John Kerry was also given a copy.
91) Christopher Steele was already well-known within the State Department. Following Steele’s involvement in the FIFA scandal investigation, he began to provide reports informally to the State Department.

theguardian.com/news/2017/nov/…
92) Reports for “private client” “shared widely within U.S. State Dept & sent to Secretary of State John Kerry & Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, in charge of U.S. response to Putin’s annexation of Crimea & covert invasion of eastern Ukraine”
theguardian.com/us-news/2015/m…
93) In July 2016, when the FBI wanted to send Michael Gaeta to visit Christopher Steele in London, the FBI sought permission from the office of Victoria Nuland, who provided this version of events during a Feb. 4, 2018, appearance on “Face the Nation”

theepochtimes.com/how-a-little-k…
94) “Steele became concerned, he passed 2-4 pages of short points of what he was finding & our immediate reaction to that was, this is not in our purview. This needs to go to FBI if there is any concern here that one candidate or election as whole might be influenced by Russian”
95) Christopher Steele also met with Jonathan Winer, former deputy assistant secretary of state for international law enforcement & former special envoy for Libya. Steele & Winer had known each other since at least 2010.

politico.com/story/2018/02/…
96) “In September 2016, Steele & I met in Washington & discussed info now known as ‘dossier’ Steele’s sources suggested that Kremlin not only had been behind Aiding of DNC & Hillary Clinton campaign but also had compromised Trump & developed ties with his associates & campaign.”
97) Winer received separate dossier, similar to Steele’s, from long-time Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal. “2nd dossier” had been compiled by another longtime Clinton operative, former journalist Cody Shearer & echoed claims made in Steele dossier.

thehill.com/policy/nationa…
98) Jonathan Winer then met with Steele in late September 2016 and gave Steele a copy of the “second dossier.” Steele went on to share this second dossier with the FBI, which may have used it to corroborate his dossier.

thehill.com/policy/nationa…
99) Foreign officials also used conduits into State Dept. Alexander Downer, Australia’s high commissioner to UK, funneled his conversation with Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos—later used as reason to open FBI’s counter-intel investigation—to U.S. Embassy in London.
100) “The Downer details landed with embassy’s then-chargé d’affaires, Elizabeth Dibble, who previously served as principal deputy assistant secretary in Hilary Clinton’s State Dept,”

wsj.com/articles/the-c…
101) If true, this would mean that neither Australian intelligence nor the Australian government alerted the FBI to the Papadopoulos information. What happened with the Downer details, & to whom they were ultimately relayed, remains unknown.
102) Curiously, details surprisingly similar to the Papadopoulos–Downer conversation show up in the first memo written by Steele on June 20, 2016:

documentcloud.org/documents/3259…
103) “Dossier of compromising info on Hillary Clinton has been collated by Russian Intel Services over many years & mainly comprises bugged conversations she had on various visits to Russia & intercepted phone calls. It has not yet been distributed abroad, including to Trump.”
104) Clintons & DNC both had most to gain but they had most to lose. & they stood willing & ready to do wtv was necessary to win. Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, is credited with being 1st to raise specter of candidate Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia.
105) The entire Hilary Clinton campaign willfully promoted the narrative of Russia–Trump collusion despite the uncomfortable Fact that the Clintons were the ones who had engaged the services of Fusion GPS & Christopher Steele through their law firm Perkins Coie.
106) Information flowed from the Clinton campaign—sometimes through Perkins Coie, other times through affiliates—ultimately making its way into the media and sometimes to the FBI. Information from the Hilary Clinton campaign may also have ended up in the Steele dossier.
107) Jennifer Palmieri, communications director for the Hilary Clinton campaign, in tandem with Jake Sullivan, senior policy adviser to HRC campaign, took lead in spreading the Propaganda to the MSM press on Trump–Russia collusion narrative "story".
108) Example of this behavior can be seen from instance when Perkins Coie lawyer Michael Sussmann leaked info from Steele & Fusion GPS to Franklin Foer of Slate. This is described in HIC’s report on Russian active measures, in footnote 43 on page 57

intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/…
109) Foer then published the article “Was a Trump Server Communicating With Russia?” on Oct. 31, 2016. The article concerns allegations regarding a server in the Trump Tower paid for by his Presidential competition Hilary Clinton with intent to spy.

slate.com/articles/news_…
110) These statements, which were later proven to be incorrect, are all the more disturbing with the hindsight knowledge that it was a senior Hilary Clinton/DNC lawyer who helped Plant the story. & given the prepared statement by Sullivan, the Hilary Clinton campaign knew this.
111) This behavior engaged in repeatedly—leaks to MSM, followed by attacks from HRC campaign. Alexandra is Ukrainian-American consulting for DNC. Chalupa met with officials in Ukrainian Embassy in D.C in to claim ties between Trump, Paul Manafort & Russia

themarketswork.com/2018/03/09/vic…
112) Alexandra Chalupa began investigating Paul Manafort in 2014. In late 2015, Chalupa expanded her opposition research on Manafort to include Trump’s ties to Russia. In January 2016, Chalupa shared her information with a senior DNC official.

politico.com/story/2017/01/…
113) Chalupa’s meetings with DNC & Ukrainian officials would continue. On April 26, 2016, investigative reporter Michael Isikoff published a story on Yahoo News about Manafort’s business dealings with Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska.
114) Later learned from DNC email leaked by @Wikileaks Chalupa been working with Isikoff—same journalist Christopher Steele leaked to in Sept 2016. Manafort later indicted for Foreign Agents Registration Act violations that occurred during Hussein Obama.

wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/ema…
115) law firm Perkins Coie served as legal arm for both Hilary Clinton & DNC. Ties to Perkins Coie extended beyond DNC into Hussein Obama WH. Bob Bauer, partner at law firm & founder of political law practice, served as WH counsel to @BarackObama 2010-2011
perkinscoie.com/en/news-insigh…
116) Bob Bauer was also general counsel to Barack Hussein Obama’s presidential campaign organization, Obama for America, in 2008 & 2012.

perkinscoie.com/en/news-insigh…
117) Perkins Coie Marc Elias & Michael Sussmann each played roles & were ones who hired Fusion GPS & Steele. Sussmann personally handled alleged hack of DNC server. He sent Info, from Steele & Fusion GPS, to James Baker, then-chief counsel at FBI & to MSM
theepochtimes.com/the-many-quest…
118) letter dated Oct. 24, 2017, by Matthew Gehringer, general counsel at Perkins Coie, firm was approached by Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson in March 2016 regarding possibility of hiring Fusion GPS to continue opposition research into Trump campaign

assets.documentcloud.org/documents/4116…
119) Glenn Simpson’s overtures were successful, & in April 2016, Perkins Coie hired Fusion GPS on behalf of the DNC to Spy on @realDonaldTrump , the Presidential competition of Hilary Clinton foundation

assets.documentcloud.org/documents/4116…
120) in April or May 2016, Fusion GPS hired Christopher Steele: drive.google.com/file/d/0Bzgzy2…

FusionGPS also hired Nellie Ohr, wife of Associate Deputy AG Bruce Ohr.
Steele would complete his first memo on June 20, 2016 & send to FusionGPS via enciphered mail:
themarketswork.com/2018/01/15/the…
121) Perkins Coie as conduit between DNC &e FBI. Docs suggest Sussmann was feeding info to FBI GC James Baker & journalists ahead of FBI’s app for FISA warrant on Trump campaign. Info provided by Sussmann may have been used by FBI as “corroborating info”
theepochtimes.com/perkins-coie-l…
122) Barack Hussein Obama administration provided a simultaneous layer of protection & facilitation for the entire #Spaygate effort. One example is provided by Section 2.3 of Executive Order 12333, also known as Obama’s data-sharing order.

123) With the passage of the Obama order, agencies & individuals were able to ask National Security Agency for access to specific surveillance simply by claiming the intercepts contained relevant information that was useful to a particular mission.

assets.documentcloud.org/documents/3283…
124) Section 2.3 had been expected to be finalized by early to mid-2016. Instead, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper didn’t sign off on Section 2.3 until Dec. 15, 2016. The order was finalized when AG Loretta Lynch signed it on Jan. 3, 2017.

assets.documentcloud.org/documents/3283…
125) Reason for delay relate to Fact that while executive order made it easier to share intel between agencies, it also limited certain types of info from going to WH.

Example provided on March 2, 2017, Obama gathered & disseminated intel on Trump team:
126) “I was urging my former colleagues &, frankly speaking, people on Hill … ‘Get as much info as you can. Get as much intel as you can before Barack Hussein Obama leaves administration.’ Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia/Ukraine/Eurasia Evelyn Farkas
127) “Trump folks, if they found out how we knew what we knew about Trump staff’s dealing with Russians, [they] would try to compromise those sources & methods, meaning we would no longer have access to that intel.… That’s why you have the leaking.” Evelyn Farkas
128) Obama admin efforts structural in nature, establishing procedures creating impediments to oversight that enabled surveillance abuse to occur. DOJ IG Michael Horowitz appointed by Obama in 2011. From very start found his duties throttled by AG’s office
129) “We got access to infon up to 2010 in all of these categories. No law changed in 2010. No policy changed. It was simply a decision by General Counsel’s Office in 2010 that they viewed, now, the law differently. & as a result, they weren’t going to give us that information.”
130) New restrictions were put in place by AG Eric Holder & Deputy AG James Cole. Aug. 5, 2014 Horowitz & other sent letter to Congress asking for unimpeded access to all records. Deputy AG Sally Yates responded on July 20, 2015, with 58-page memorandum.

grassley.senate.gov/sites/default/…
131) The Deputy Attorney General Sally Yate memo specifically denied the inspector general access to any information collected under Title III—including intercepted communications & national security letters.

ignet.gov/sites/default/…
132) Obama efforts more direct. Intel Community assessment released on Jan. 5, 2017. same day Obama held an undisclosed WH meeting to discuss dossier with NSA Susan Rice, FBI Director James Comey & Yates. Rice later sent herself email documenting meeting.
dni.gov/files/document…
133) following day, Brennan, Clapper & Comey attached summary of Steele dossier to classified briefing gave Obama. Comey met with Trump to inform him of dossier. Meeting took place hours after Comey, Brennan & Clapper briefed Obama on Intel Community assessment & Steele dossier.
134) After Comey’s meeting with Trump, Existence of dossier were leaked to MSM. Significance of meeting was material, Comey noted Jan. 7: “Media like CNN had them & were looking for a news hook. I said it was important that we not give them excuse to write that FBI has material.”
135) “Because that was the part that the leaders of the Intelligence Community agreed he needed to be told about.” Former FBI Director James Comey

scribd.com/document/37685…
136) CNN dismissed dossier as unsubstantiated & therefore, unreportable. It was only after learning that Comey briefed Trump that @CNN reported on dossier. It was later revealed that DNI James Clapper leaked Comey’s meeting with @realDonaldTrump to CNN

themarketswork.com/2018/04/27/cla…
137) Barack Obama admin directly participated in series of intel unmaskings, process whereby a U.S. citizen’s identity is revealed from collected surveillance.

U.S. Ambassador to U.N. Samantha Power reportedly engaged in hundreds of unmasking requests.

themarketswork.com/2017/07/29/a-l…
138) Barack Hussein Obama admin engaged in unfortunately successful effort to oust Donald Trump’s newly appointed national security adviser, Gen. Michael Flynn. Yates, along with Mary McCord, head of DOJ’s National Security Division, led that effort.

themarketswork.com/2018/05/12/gra…
139) Barack Hussein Obama issued a last-minute executive order 13762 on Jan. 13, 2017, that altered the line of succession within the DOJ. The action was not done in consultation with the incoming @realDonaldTrump administration.

govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR…
140) Acting AG Sally Yates was fired on Jan. 30, 2017, by President Trump for refusing to uphold president’s executive order limiting travel from certain terror-prone countries. Yates was initially supposed to serve in her position until Jeff Sessions was confirmed as AG.
141) Barack Hussein Obama’s EO placed U.S. attorney for District of Columbia next in line behind department’s senior leadership. Attorney at time was Channing Phillips. Phillips was first hired by former AGl Eric Holder in1994 for a position in D.C. U.S. attorney’s office.
142) Phillips, after serving as senior adviser to Holder, stayed on after he was replaced by AG Loretta Lynch. It appears Obama admin was hoping the Russia investigation would default to Channing in the event Sessions was forced to recuse himself from the investigation.
143) Jeff Sessions, whose confirmation hearings began three days before the order, was already coming under intense scrutiny.

The implementation of the order may also tie into Yates’s efforts to remove Gen. Michael Flynn over his call with the Russian ambassador.
144) President Trump ignored the succession order, as he is legally allowed to do, & instead appointed Dana Boente, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, as acting AG on Jan. 30, 2017, same day Yates was fired.
145) Trump issued a new executive order on Feb. 9, 2017, same day Sessions was sworn in, reversing Obama’s prior order.

On March 10, 2017, Trump fired 46 Obama-era U.S. attorneys, including Preet Bharara, U.S. attorney in Manhattan. These firings appear to have been unexpected.
146) MSM has played most disingenuous of roles. False narratives have been all-too-willingly promoted & facts ignored. Fusion GPS personally made payments to several as-of-yet-unnamed reporters.

Government Documents: scribd.com/document/36520…

Sources: theepochtimes.com/did-former-fei…
147) MSM has represented positions of DNC & Hilary Clinton campaign. Steele met with members of media. In Sept 2016, he met with U.S. journalists for “@nytimes, @washingtonpost, @YahooNews, @NewYorker & @CNN” Steele met with Michael Isikoff of Yahoo News.
theguardian.com/news/2017/nov/…
148) In mid-October 2016, Steele returned to New York & met with reporters again. Toward end of October, Steele spoke via Skype with Mother Jones reporter David Corn.

Leaking, including felony leaking of classified information, has been widespread
149) Carter Page FISA warrant—likely unredacted —been in possession of @washingtonpost & @nytimes since March 2017. Intel community leaked to WP while DOJ leaked to sources within NYT. This historical pattern of leaking became so widespread, even this leaking was deemed Criminal.
150) On April 3, 2017, BuzzFeed reporter Ali Watkins wrote the article “A Former Trump Adviser Met With a Russian Spy.” Paid for by fusion GPS & illegally leaked Govt. Docs

buzzfeednews.com/article/alimwa…
151) In the article, she identified “Male-1,” referred to in court documents relating to the case of Russian spy Evgeny Buryakov, as Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, who had provided the FBI with assistance in the case:

assets.documentcloud.org/documents/3535…
152) Just over a week later, on April 11, 2017, Washington Post article, “FBI Obtained FISA Warrant to Monitor Former Trump Adviser Carter Page,” confirmed the existence of the October 2016 Page FISA warrant:

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
153) Articles came via Felony leaks from James Wolfe, former security for Senate Select Committee, was arrested on June 7, 2018 & charged with 1 count of lying to FBI. Wolfe alleges he was leaking classified info to reporters over extended period of time:
justice.gov/usao-dc/press-…
154) Reporter Ali Watkins likely received the Feloniously Leaked un-redacted FISA application on Carter Page from James Wolfe.

James Wolfe Indictment docs: justice.gov/usao-dc/press-…
155) It appears probable that Wolfe leaked unredacted copies of the Page FISA application.
According to the indictment, Wolfe exchanged 82 text messages with Watkins on March 17, 2017. That same evening they engaged in a 28-minute phone call.

justice.gov/usao-dc/press-…
156) Original Page FISA app is 83 pages long, including 1 final signatory page. In public version of app, there are 37 fully redacted pages. Several other pages have redactions for all but the header. There are only 2 pages in entire document that contain no redactions.
157) Why would Wolfe bother to send 37pages of complete redactions? Wolfe took pictures of original unredacted FISA app & sent them by text to Watkins. HIC Chairman Devin Nunes has repeatedly stated that evidence within FISA app shows counter-intel agencies abused by Obama admin.
158) Despite this, most major MSM Orgs for over 2years have promoted the Russia-collusion narrative. Despite ample evidence having come out to contrary, they have not admitted they were Wrong, likely because doing so would mean they would have to Admit their Complicity.
#SpyGate
159) UK & Australian intel agencies played roles during 2016 presidential election. Britain’s GCHQ was involved in collecting info regarding Trump & transmitting it to United States. Robert Hannigan, head of GCHQ, met with then-CIA Director John Brennan

theepochtimes.com/the-uk-and-aus…
160) Hannigan’s meeting was noteworthy because Brennan wasn’t Hannigan’s counterpart. That position belonged to NSA Director Mike Rogers. In following year, Hannigan abruptly announced his retirement on Jan. 23, 2017—3 days after Trump’s inauguration.

theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/j…
161) GCHQ was gathering intel, low-level Trump campaign foreign-policy adviser George Papadopoulos. Maltese professor Josef Mifsud, Australian diplomat Alexander Downer, FBI informant Stefan Halper & officials from UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) all contact Papadopoulos
162) Christopher Steele, authored dossier on Trump, was MI6 agent whose boss was Sir Richard Dearlove. It was he who advised Steele & his business partner, Chris Burrows, to work with top British govt official to pass along info to FBI in the fall of 2016

telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/12/1…
163) Halper invited Carter Page to 2016 Cambridge symposium. Dearlove knows Sir Iain Lobban, former head of GCHQ, board member at British strategic intel & advisory firm Hakluyt, founded by former MI6 members & retains close ties to UK intel services.

hakluytandco.com
164) Halper has connections to Hakluyt through Jonathan Clarke, with whom he has co-authored 2 books.

Downer, who met Papadopoulos in May 2016 meeting established through a chain of 2 intermediaries, served on advisory board of Hakluyt from 2008-2014.

news.com.au/world/britain-…
165) Information from Alexander Downer meeting with George Papadopoulos was later used by the FBI to establish the bureau’s counterintelligence investigation into Trump–Russia collusion.

Alexander Downer has changed his version of events multiple times.
166) Steele dossier was fed into U.S. through leaks. Sir Andrew Wood, former British ambassador to Russia, briefed about dossier by Steele. Wood relayed info of dossier to Sen. John McCain, who dispatched David Kramer, a fellow at McCain Institute, to London to meet with Steele.
167) Sen. John McCain would later admit in a Jan. 11, 2017, statement that he had personally passed on the dossier to then-FBI Director James Comey.

mccain.senate.gov/public/index.c…
168) Trump, after issuing order for declassification of docs & text messages related to Russia-collusion—including parts of Carter Page FISA warrant app—received phone calls from 2 U.S. allies saying, “Please, can we talk.” Those “allies” were almost certainly UK & Australia.
169) In Tweet, @realDonaldTrump wrote that “key Allies called to ask not to release” the documents. Questions to be asked are why 2 of our allies would find themselves so opposed to release of these classified docs that coordinated plea would be made directly to president Trump?
170) Britain & Australia appear to know full well what those Classified documents contain & their attempt to prevent their public release appears to be because they don’t want their role in events surrounding 2016 presidential election to be made public.

171) Glenn Simpson, former @WSJ reporter, founder of Fusion GPS.
Fusion hired by DNC & Clintons through law firm Perkins Coie to produce & disseminate Steele dossier used against Trump. Dossier would be primary evidence used to obtain FISA warrant on Carter Page on Oct. 21, 2016
172) Christopher Steele, retains ties to UK intel, worked for MI6 from 1987 until his retirement in 2009, when he & his partner, Chris Burrows, founded Orbis Intel. Steele maintains contact with British intel, Sir Richard Dearlove & UK intel firm Hakluyt.

themarketswork.com/2018/05/09/dea…
173) Steele been represented by lawyer Adam Waldman, who also represented Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska: scribd.com/document/37110…

We know this from texts sent by Waldman. On April 10, 2017, Waldman sent this to Sen. Mark Warner: scribd.com/document/37110…
174) “Hi Steele: would like to get bi partisan letter from committee; Assange: I convinced him to make serious & important concessions & am discussing those w DOJ Deripaska: willing to testify to congress but interested in state of play w Manafort I will be with him next tuesday”
175) Steele also appears to have lobbied on behalf of Deripaska, who was discussed in emails between Bruce Ohr & Steele that were recently disclosed by the Washington Examiner:
washingtonexaminer.com/news/emails-sh…
176) “Steele said he was ‘circulating some recent sensitive Orbis reporting’ on Deripaska that suggested Deripaska was not a ‘tool’ of the Kremlin. Steele said he would send the reporting to a name that is redacted in the email.”

washingtonexaminer.com/news/emails-sh…
177) FusionGPS hired by Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya. Veselnitskaya was in litigation pitting Russian firm Prevezon Holdings against British-American financier William Browder. Veselnitskaya hired U.S. law firm BakerHostetler, in turn, hired FusionGPS get dirt on Browder
178) Natalia Veselnitskaya was one of participants at the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting, at which she discussed the Magnitsky Act.

Report by @FoxNews on Nov. 9, 2017 (Now Deleted), Glenn Simpson (FusionGPS) met with Veselnitskaya immediately before & after Trump Tower meeting.
179) Declassified top-secret Foreign Intel Surveillance Court report released on April 26, 2017, revealed FBI, CIA & NSA, improperly accessed Americans’ communications. FBI provided outside contractors with access to surveillance data on American citizen without proper oversight.
180) Bruce & Nellie Ohr have known Glenn Simpson since 2010 & have known Steele since 2006. The Ohrs & Simpson worked together on DOJ in 2010. Nellie’s biography lists her as working for Open Source Works, which is part of CIA. Simpson met with Bruce before & after 2016 election. Nellie OhrBruce OhrGlenn Simpson
181) Bruce Ohr had been in contact repeatedly with Steele during 2016 presidential campaign—while Steele was constructing his dossier. Ohr later actively shared info he received from Steele with FBI, after the agency had terminated Steele as a source

theepochtimes.com/did-the-fbi-us…
182) Interactions between Bruce Ohr & Christopher Steele stretched for months into first year of @realDonaldTrump ’s presidency & were documented in a number of FD-302s—memos that summarize interviews with him by the FBI.

foxnews.com/politics/top-d…
183) In effort to put forth evidence of collusion between Trump & Russia, several different "Spy Traps" were set, with varying degrees of success. Many efforts center around Trump adviser George Papadopoulos & involve London-based professor Joseph Mifsud, with ties to UK intel.
184) Papadopoulos & Mifsud both worked at London Centre of International Law Practice (LCILP). Mifsud appears to have joined LCILP Nov 2015. Papadopoulos reportedly joined LCILP sometime in late Feb 2016 after leaving Ben Carson’s presidential campaign

theepochtimes.com/key-russian-co…
185) Mifsud introduced Papadopoulos to several Russians, including Olga Polonskaya, whom Mifsud introduced as “Putin’s niece” & Ivan Timofeev, official at state-sponsored think tank called Russian International Affairs Council. Both Papadopoulos & Mifsud were interviewed by FBI.
186) Papadopoulos was charged with process crime & was recently sentenced to 14 days in prison for lying to FBI. Mifsud was never charged by FBI.

Papadopoulos continuously pushed for meetings between Trump campaign officials & Russian contacts but unsuccessful in any meetings.
187) Papadopoulos met with Australian diplomat Alexander Downer on May 10, 2016.

The Papadopoulos–Downer meeting has been portrayed as a chance encounter in a bar. That does not appear to be the case.

nytimes.com/2017/12/30/us/…
188) Papadopoulos was introduced to Downer through a chain of 2 intermediaries who said Downer wanted to meet with Papadopoulos. Another individual happened to be in London at exactly same time: FBI’s head of counter-intel, Bill Priestap. Purpose of Priestap’s visit Is unknown.
189) The Papadopoulos–Downer meeting was later used to establish FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Trump–Russia collusion. It was repeatedly reported that Papadopoulos told Downer that Russia had Hillary Clinton’s emails.

This is incorrect.

theepochtimes.com/fbis-stated-re…
190) According to Downer, Papadopoulos at some point mentioned Russians had damaging info on Hillary Clinton. “During conversation, [Papadopoulos] mentioned Russians might use material that they have on Hillary Clinton in the lead-up to the election, which may be damaging,’’
191) Downer told The Australian about the Papadopoulos meeting in an April 2018 article. “He didn’t say dirt, he said material that could be damaging to her. No, he said it would be damaging. He didn’t say what it was.”
192) Downer, as Australia’s foreign minister, responsible for largest foreign donations to Clinton Fndn: $25 million from Australian govt. FBI attempted to obtain 2 FISA warrants in 2016 that were denied by FISA court. Papadopoulos was an intended target of these failed FISAs.
193) No mention of Papadopoulos in Steele dossier. Paul Manafort, Carter Page, Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, Gen. Michael Flynn & former Trump manager Corey Lewandowski are listed. Papadopoulos started assisting FBI or CIA & discovered he was being set up for surveillance himself.
194) After failing to obtain a spy warrant on Trump campaign using Papadopoulos, FBI set its sights on campaign volunteer Carter Page. By this time, counterintelligence investigation was in process of being established & we know now that it was formalized with no official intel.
195) The FBI needed some sort of legal cover. They needed a retroactive warrant. And they got one on Oct. 21, 2016. The Page FISA warrant would be renewed three times and remain in force until September 2017.
196) Stefan Halper met with Page 1st time on July 11, 2016, at Cambridge symposium, 3 days after Page’s July 2016 Moscow trip. Former MI6 head Sir Richard Dearlove was speaker at symposium. Halper & Dearlove have known each other for years & maintain several mutual associations.
197) Carter Page FISA warrant app references Buryakov spy case & FBI interview with Page. Current info suggests there was only 1 meeting between Page & FBI in 2016. March 2, 2016. It was in relation to Victor Podobnyy, who was named in Buryakov case.

theepochtimes.com/carter-pages-a…
198) Page, who cooperated with FBI on case, almost certainly was providing testimony or details against Podobnyy. Page had been contacted by Podobnyy in 2013 & had previously provided information to FBI.

Evgeny Buryakov pleaded guilty on March 11, 2016

justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/e…
199) Nine days after Page met with FBI on the case—and was sentenced to 30 months in prison on May 25, 2016. On April 5, 2017, Evgeny Buryakov was granted early release and was deported to Russia.

abcnews.go.com/International/…
200) House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes said in August that exculpatory evidence on Page exists that wasn’t included by DOJ & FBI in FISA application & subsequent renewals. The exculpatory evidence likely relates specifically to Page’s role in the Buryakov case.
201) If FBI failed to disclose Page’s cooperation with or materially misrepresented his involvement in its app to FISA Court, it means that FBI’s Woods procedures, which govern FISA apps were violated. Page has not been arrested or charged with any crime related to investigation.
202) Admiral Mike Rogers, while director of The NSA, was personally responsible for uncovering an unprecedented level of FISA Abuse that would later be documented in a 99-page unsealed FISA court ruling: dni.gov/files/document…
203) The FISA court noted in April 26, 2017, ruling, abuses had been occurring since at least Nov 2015: “FBI had disclosed raw FISA info, including but not limited to Section 702-acquired info, to private contractors" : dni.gov/files/document…
204) “Private contractors had access to raw FISA information on FBI storage systems.
“Contractors had access to raw FISA information that went well beyond what was necessary to respond to the FBI’s requests.”

dni.gov/files/document…
205) The FISA Court report is particularly focused on the FBI:
“The Court is concerned about the FBI’s apparent disregard of minimization rules & whether the FBI may be engaging in similar disclosures of raw Section 702 information that have not been reported.”
206) The FISA Court disclosed that illegal NSA database searches were endemic. Private contractors, employed by the FBI, were given full access to the NSA database. Once in the contractors’ possession, the data couldn’t be traced.

themarketswork.com/2018/04/05/the…
207) In April 2016, after then-NSA Director Adm. Mike Rogers became aware of improper contractor access to raw FISA data on March 9, 2016, he directed NSA’s Office of Compliance to conduct “fundamental baseline review of compliance associated with 702.”

intelligence.senate.gov/hearings/open-…
208) On April 18, 2016, then-NSA Director Adm. Mike Rogers shut down all outside contractor access to raw FISA information—specifically outside contractors working for the FBI.
209) DOJ National Security Division (NSD) head John Carlin filed govt’s proposed 2016 Section 702 certifications on Sept. 26, 2016. Carlin knew general status of compliance review by Rogers. NSD was part of review.

dni.gov/files/document…
210) John Carlin failed to disclose a critical Jan. 7, 2016, report by the Office of the Inspector General & associated FISA abuse to the FISA Court in his 2016 certification. Carlin also failed to disclose Rogers’s ongoing Section 702 compliance review.
dni.gov/files/document…
211) Sept. 27, 2016, Carlin announced resignation, effective Oct. 15, 2016. After receiving briefing by NSA compliance officer Oct. 20, 2016, detailing “about query” violations from 702 NSA compliance audit, Rogers shut down all “about query” activity & reported findings to DOJ.
212) Oct. 21, 2016, DOJ & FBI sought & received Title I FISA probable-cause order authorizing electronic surveillance on Carter Page from FISA Court.

At this point, the FISA Court was still unaware of the Section 702 violations: intelligence.senate.gov/hearings/open-…

dni.gov/files/document…
213) Oct. 24, 2016, Rogers verbally informed FISA Court of his findings. On Oct. 26, 2016, Rogers appeared formally before FISA Court & presented written findings of his audit.

FISA Court had been unaware of query violations until they were presented to the court by Adm Rogers.
214) DOJ National Security Division John Carlin didn’t disclose his knowledge of the FISA abuse in the annual Section 702 certifications in order to avoid raising suspicions at the FISA Court ahead of receiving the Page FISA warrant.

Video Testimony: intelligence.senate.gov/hearings/open-…
215) FBI & NSD were literally racing against Rogers’s investigation in order to obtain FISA warrant on Carter Page. While all this was transpiring, DNI James Clapper & Defense Secretary Ash Carter submitted recommendation that Adm Rogers be removed from his post as NSA director.
216) The move to fire then-NSA Director Adm. Mike Rogers, which ultimately failed, originated sometime in mid-October 2016—exactly when then-NSA Director Adm. Mike Rogers was preparing to present his findings to FISA Court.

702 NSA compliance audit Doc: dni.gov/files/document…
217) Since release of FBI text messages revealing existence of “#insurancepolicy” term has been subject of wide speculation. Observers have suggested that insurance policy was FISA spy warrant used to monitor Trump campaign adviser Carter Page & other members of Trump campaign.
218) This interpretation fails to capture underlying meaning of text. #Insurancepolicy was actual process of establishing Trump–Russia collusion narrative. Actions undertaken in 2016 & early 2017, leaking of Steele dossier & Clapper’s leaks of Comey’s briefing to President Trump.
219) Intent behind actions was, legitimization of investigation into Trump campaign. Strategy involved recusal of Trump officials with intent Andrew McCabe end up running investigation. Steele dossier, paid by Hillary Clinton campaign & DNC, as foundation for Russia narrative.
220) The intelligence community, led by CIA Director John Brennan & DNI James Clapper, used the dossier as a launching pad for creating their Intelligence Community assessment.
221) This report, which was presented to Barack Hussein Obama in December 2016, despite NSA Director Mike Rogers having only moderate confidence in its assessment, became one of the core pieces of the narrative that Russia interfered with the 2016 elections.
222) Through intelligence community leaks, and in collusion with willing media outlets, the narrative that Russia helped Trump win the elections was aggressively pushed throughout 2017.
223) #Spygate represents biggest political scandal in our nations history. A sitting admin actively colluded with a political campaign to affect outcome of a U.S. presidential election. Govt agencies were weaponized & complicit media spread intelligence community leaks as facts.
224) Larger Q remains: How long has the United States been subject to interference from the intelligence community & our political agencies? Was the 2016 presidential election a one-time aberration, or is this episode symptomatic of a larger pattern extending back decades?
225) The Intensity, scale, & coordination suggest something Greater than overzealous Actions taken during a single Election. They Represent a unified reaction of the establishment to a Threat posed by a True outsider—a Reaction that has come to be known as #Spygate.
🚨UPDATE🚨
#Spygate: The True Story of Collusion How the United States of America's most powerful agencies were weaponized Against President @realDonaldTrump during 2016 Election & Today 🇺🇸

The Worst Scandal of Government Corruption since Watergate

👇Click Thread for Details👇
1. 2018 proved to be a year of numerous revelations that provided clarity regarding events leading up to—& following—the 2016 presidential Election were HRC uses #SpyGate Against @realDonaldTrump in attempt to be Elected 45th President of the United States of America 🇺🇸

#MAGA
2. It is now clear that elements within FBI, CIA, Department of Justice (DOJ), & State Department were actively working against the Trump campaign, & that these elements continued to work against President @realDonaldTrump’s administration following his surprise win.
#SpyGate
3. Immediately following @realDonaldTrump’s victory, these efforts focused on two specific fronts: hobbling the effectiveness of Trump’s newly formed administration and simultaneously working toward his impeachment.
4. Complicit in this effort was MSM, which gleefully promoted story after story full of half-truths & Fake News. @realDonaldTrump continued to surprise & confound opposition. His admin began to assert itself & semblance of control was exerted over FBI & DOJ at most senior levels.
5. In early 2018, a purge of sorts appears to have taken place; a number of high-profile individuals abruptly resigned or were fired. Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was fired & is currently the subject of an ongoing grand jury investigation.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
6. Investigation by Robert Mueller, began in May 2017, began to return indictments, but has noticeably failed to produce any evidence of collusion on part of Trump campaign. Each indictment from Mueller has specifically noted there was no collusion on part of any American citizen
7. Special counsel appears to be particularly focused on violations of Foreign Agents Registration Act, & influence peddling under Obama admin. Multiple investigations, including a prominent investigation into FISA abuse, conducted by DOJ IG Michael Horowitz, remain ongoing.
8. Looking forward into 2019, the questions become “who will be held accountable?” “how high up the political ladder will the investigation go?” and “will some of the more prominent players, such as former CIA Director John Brennan, become part of an investigative focus?”
9. Mueller investigation has proven to be emotional issue for many. There are some potentially reassuring facts for those concerned special counsel is acting out of bounds. Mueller’s investigation has exhibited a common theme: influence peddling & FARA violations...
10. And majority of his investigations, such as the one into Paul Manafort, relate to events preceding Trump. Thus far, there have been NO allegations of collusion in any of the Mueller indictments relating to President @realDonaldTrump
11. Not widely known is that Trump, Rosenstein, & Mueller met on May 17, 2017—one day prior to Mueller’s appointment. Ostensibly, the meeting was about whether Mueller would accept the role of FBI director, but this would seem to make little sense.
12. Mueller previously served as FBI director 2001-2013—2 years beyond normal 10-year for FBI director. 2011, Obama requested Mueller stay as FBI director for additional 2 years, which required special approval from Congress. A new tenure would almost certainly have been opposed.
13. May 17 appointment of Mueller accomplished 1 very significant thing: Shifted control of Russia Investigation from FBI & McCabe to Mueller. Rosenstein would retain ultimate Authority over probe & any expansion of Mueller’s investigation required authorization from Rosenstein.
14. On Aug. 2, 2017, Rod Rosenstein Secretly issued Robert Mueller a Revised Scope of Investigation & Definition of Authority memo that remains heavily Redacted. The full purpose of this Memo remains Unknown & few have seen the Unredacted version.

assets.documentcloud.org/documents/4429…
15. Two individuals who have seen unredacted version are U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III, who presided over trial of Manafort & newly installed Acting AG Matthew Whitaker.
Neither man has given any indication that there are any issues with the contents of Rosenstein’s memo.
16. Journalists gather outside HQ of Orbis Business Intel, company run by former intel officer Christopher Steele, in London on January 12, 2017.
As we move toward year’s close, one final item worth noting remains:
