Please remember it is a psychological self defense mechanism to normalize what’s going on around you

And when that doesn’t work, many people will find they grow numb or hardened to things that used to bother them immensely

#Resist normalization

#Resist hardening of the heart
How do we keep from normalizing the current political state of affairs?

How do we keep from hardening our hearts?

We can start by regularly reminding each other “This is NOT Normal” and emotionally supporting each other.

Encourage breaks and discourage quitting.
Now I’m gonna be honest and admit that I’ve been struggling with the numbness.

I have been for a few months now.

You know what keeps me from going fully numb or quitting?

#Resisters keep me here. Their passion re ignites mine.

Never forget how important we are to each other.
