The Dawn Uprising
In the New World, those without powers rule those who have them with an iron fist and inhumane treatment. Park Jimin, a Soldier, has seen enough...done enough...been through enough. But to beat the dictatorship, he needs a Seer. He needs Jungkook.
Even Flow Jimin tours the US, performing onstage with his band every night. But offstage, he is reclusive and closed off. Enter Jungkook, a photographer working with a journalist to reveal the realities of Jimin's group. Their meeting has an impact neither expect...
Jimin is lead singer and songwriter of an Indie rock band. Son of a ultra conservative politician with an eye on the White House, he is an introvert who only comes out of his shell onstage. Resigned to a life in a closet he didn't build, until his life is disrupted by Jungkook.
Jungkook knows better than most what it feels like to be unwell. But those times are past him, despite what his overprotective mother thinks. He is assigned to photograph Park Jimin, and instantly, there is chemistry. But Kook has never hidden who he is, and Jimin always has.
The Stolen Child Jimin has pretended his whole life. Problem is, he's not sure why he acts this way. Meanwhile, in a fairy kingdom, magic is fading because there is no rightful heir. Jungkook walks the line between court noble and undercover rebel, while searching for the heir.
Jungkook: member of the noble class of fairies in the kingdom. He was raised to serve the current ruler, but hates her tyranny and is working behind the scenes to put an end to the madness. He believes power should be shared, but that the first step is finding the lost prince.
Park Jimin: raised in a group home by a considerate and kind caretaker, Jimin spends all his spare time in the pool, the falls, or pretending he's something he's not. Even he can't explain why he acts like a clown when all he wants is to know his truth.
Freedom from Yesterday...Word reaches the FBI that a person has escaped from the hands of a serial killer who Jungkook and the BAU have been chasing for years. Park Jimin is different from what Jungkook was expecting, though. He needs to be saved, but will he let anyone help him?
Yoongi is the unit chief on the team. He has an ability to empathize with victims and the criminals they pursue, which makes profiling them much easier, but arresting them more complicated. For those who watch Criminal Minds, he is loosely based on the Aaron Hotchner character).
Second in command to Yoongi, Chanyeol seems like he is interested only in wine, books, and the finer things in life, but his sharp brain and intense observation skills make him an excellent profiler. (For those who watch Criminal Minds, he is loosely based on David Rossi).
Masquerade (jikook, vhope) Jimin and his older brother, Hoseok, are princes. Their world is lavish and full of beautiful things, and they are envied by everyone. But both have secrets. Some they share, others they keep from each other, and some they even keep from themselves.
