Obama’s Treasury Dept was emailing on unsecured Gmail accounts to Russia and providing information on people they requested. From 2015-2017.

The relationship was set up to track ISIS but evolved into asking for financial data on a list of people of interest to Russian intelligence. In a secret campaign to interfere in the election. WITH FULL PERMISSION YOU MEAN

At the same time Russia was making these requests, which you will see is in March and April 2016, the Treasury Dept was communicating on Hotmail and gmail accounts SET UP BY THE RUSSIANS.

But wait there’s more. This went on into 2017. The treasury OIG was notified.

FinCen officials reported the back channel and requested an investigation. For good reason. Nothing much happened and people kept using the back channel after being told to stop and why. This turned into a whistleblower incident.

The unit in Russia requesting the information was Rosfinmonitoring. I just did a search and besides this article no news stories about this yet.

The timeline starts in late 2015

It may be Natalie Mayflower Edwards, a whistleblower identified earlier in the article.

Also before I forget, the TFFC worked with other agencies, including the FBI’s TFOS (Terrorist Financing Operations Section. SSCI’ James Wolfe’s wife (Jane Rhodes Wolfe) was over TFOS until she retired in March 2016.

The “she” was FinCENs chief of staff, according to this article. There is a co conspirator in Mayflower’s indictment (above whistleblower) r justice.gov/usao-sdny/pres…

It should be noted that Mayflower’s indictment is a leak investigation that covers activities from 2017-2018. This article is shedding light on the abilities of Russia and the US to access financial data from 2015-2017.

In late 2015 this arrangement began with Russia to track ISIS. By June 2016 they had departed from ISIS and were giving Russia info on Russian and US citizens. Ziff Brothers info appears to have been requested in late May to earliest June.

If you have been following closely read the tweet about Nellie Ohr/State dept connection, and if you know of the Ukraine connection to the DNC and election (@stranahan) this nugget here is really interesting and alarming.

The dates of this story parallel the Trump Russia one.

CNN reported that In early 2016, the FBI was investigating Manafort, who was under FISA up to joining Trumps campaign. Buzzfeed (same reporters) reported Manafort financial deals were investigated under FBI’s kleptocracy squad, who worked with FinCEN (DOJ press release source)

While Russia was cultivating treasury employees, FBI and CIA were working closely with the FinCEN units in this article on the TrumpRussia investigation. Flags were raised in summer 2016. What measures did FBI and CIA take to protect their investigation?

Up til this point, I do not think I’ve seen any mention of indictments of Russians in connection to this. Or any regarding Treasury employees. The only arrest seems to be for leaking about events surrounding this.
