ایک چوہا بلی سے بڑا تنگ تھا ۔ ہر وقت اسے بلی کے حملے کا خوف رہتا تھا ۔ اس نے اپنی فریاد کسی کو سنائی جس نے چوہے کو بتلایا کہ فلاں جگہ کرامت والا مرشد ہے ۔ تم اسکے پاس جاکر اپنی فریاد سنا دو ۔

چوہا مرشد کے پاس پہنچا اور اسکو اپنی پریشانی کا سبب بتایا ۔

مرشد نے چوہے سے کہا "بولو تم کیا بننا چاہتے ہو؟" چوہے کے ذہن پر بلی کی وحشت کا بھوت سوار تھا ۔ سو چوہے نے مرشد سے فرمائش کی کہ اسے بلی بنا دیا جائے ۔ مرشد نے اپنی کرامت والی لاٹھی چوہے کے پیٹ پر مار دی جس سے چوہا بلی میں تبدیل ہو گیا۔ اب چوہا بلا خوف زندگی گزارنے لگا ۔

تھوڑا عرصہ گزرا تھا کہ اسے احساس ہونے لگا کہ بلی بن جانا کافی نہیں ہے کیونکہ اسے اب کتا تنگ کرنے لگا تھا۔ چوہا ایک مرتبہ پھر مرشد کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کی کہ اسکی نسل بلی سے تبدیل کرکے کتا کیا جائے ۔ پھر کرامت والی لاٹھی اسکے پیٹ پر پڑی جس سے بلا کتے میں بدل گیا-
