If you work at a pharmacy, you're at a place where people's literal lives are in your hands. Sometimes, even more so than a doctor's. Make absolutely certain that when you are denying someone their meds, you've done everything to ensure there was no way you to give it to them.
It's especially bad with people who need medication for mental health reasons. A lot of us end up just blaming ourselves, instead of pushing to speak for a manager and decide to suffer through instead of inconveniencing you. Do the right thing and ask someone who knows more.
