If military and diplomatic (ie binding treaties) aid to all countries were quantified in dollars spent then Israel would be nowhere near the top of American aid recipients.
The cruel irony is that the high financial aid to Israel is really a measure of how distant Israel & America are...

Like giving $10 to some dude on the street and then saying they are your highest aid recipient, not your family members, who get free rent, food, etc.
In the analogy above, family members = England, Canada, Germany, Estonia, Japan, South Korea, and others... We have binding treaties w them, station troops in their countries, have gone to war for them.

NOT TRUE of Israel.
