@CarrollQuigley1 Remember the FPRI Journal named "Orbis?" Odd, right? Well, maybe I'm late to the party, but Walsingham (e.g; Wals.-Partners->Orbis) was whom Hakluyt reported to on Spanish and French activities in America via his post in Paris. spearswms.com/hakluyts-chris…
He's also partnered in a...uhm...well, you tell me what you think (I'm not saying they sound 'cultish', but...) 👀empoweredmagazineuk.wordpress.com/2017/01/09/ked…
He's a trustee for Hereford's Chapel which houses a copy of the Magna Carta. Through a friend (doesn't say who in the first article) it came to the Houston Museum of Natural Science---kut.org/post/how-did-m…
I'm thinking this guy---bloomberg.com/research/stock… ----

Board of Trustees at HMNS, and formerly head of all of the Gulf of Mexico for BP (With whom Hakluyt has a long and colorful history).

Anyway, the Walsingham thing made me laugh.
I have more (This interests me, though it may not mean anything). Richard Hakluyt had a lesser-famous cousin named Richard Hakluyt, a barrister & briefly member of Parliament for Leominster (1558). Thomas Hakluyt followed in 1559. 🧐👇
Hereford's Chapel, Leominster is in Herefordshire. Where the Magna Carta is housed. (See above w/ C. James). Also, the chapel houses the "Mappa Mundi" (Map of the World/Orbis), produced in the 13th century by Richard of Haldingham (Holdingham?). 🤓
