been seeing lots of tweets like this: "I'm not transphobic but...[INSERT opinions about trans people being awful or fundamentally unreliable, or "I think that this journalist who >95% of trans people say misrepresents their issues & science on this matter is right on this one"]
...also seeing tweets fretting about said journalist's career being "ruined" with absolutely no concern about how he's tried to smear trans scientists & activists (e.g., me), or recent efforts to blacklist trans journalists (detailed in other tweets on my TL the last few days)
here's another good one: men who consider themselves arbiters of what *is* slut-shaming & what is not. oh, and also when those same men, upon having some of their opinions critiqued as anti-trans, stress that can't possibly be true b/c they don't purposely misgender trans people.
