This question goes right to the heart of Brexit, where amalgamated trade policy works for the convenience of capital for global multinationals in pursuit of trade and GDP growth. As for the things we value, that's always an afterthought.

There is always a distinction between worth and value. Of itself a Domino's pizza is not worth £20 but postponing human interaction for another twenty four hours certainly is. Worth and value are distinct concepts.
