Justice Department will ask federal court in MD to stay injunction against transgender military ban pursuant to Supreme Court's order Tues. — in English, thereby letting Trump ban most trans troops while four cases proceed in lower courts.

Here’s the notice filed with court:
One court in MD still blocking trans military ban, but after SCOTUS ruling Tues, DOJ will ask court to let ban take effect.

Now, trans plaintiffs acknowledge lifting nationwide injunction "would be appropriate," but ask to still protect individual plaintiffs from ban.

JUST IN — Trump admin, as expected, now asks MD court to lift final barrier for transgender military ban to take effect while challenges proceed, following the Supreme Court’s decision on Tues.
