Okay, so this “direct quote” is buried in endnote 49 of the report where no one will see it. I am back to questioning @PittCyber’s motives here. Why are the dangers of barcode voting not addressed in the body of the report???
A recent study shows that even the text portion of these barcoded printouts can be corrupted and most voters won’t notice. Any manual audit based on a corrupted printout will itself be corrupted. Why does @PittCyber’s report leave this out???
Honestly, the only explanation that makes sense is that @PittCyber wants to help the vendors get away with selling this crap. But why?
@RGarella - you may want to call this end note to the Philadelphia commission’s attention.
