i've never met anyone who experiences video games in quite the same way i do. which isn't bad! but it often makes sounding like a Knowledgeable Dev quite hard. there's much consensus, among indies and AAA alike, on what games are/what makes em good that i don't see eye to eye on.
and when it comes time to actually explain my viewpoints and back them up w anything demonstrable, it delves so quickly and deeply into incommunicably subjective territory that i feel as if it usually isn't worth trying.

my secret hope is that my work can communicate what i see.
when i write them down, so many of my formatively impactful experiences w/ games are mechanically shallow and heavily sensory. maybe the same feeling could have been imparted from something non-interactive.

but maybe it couldn't. there's no real way for me to know.
so uh.

let's hope CROSSNIQ+ goes well, i suppose!
