IN HOLY SCRIPTURE, the mystery of the HOLY TRINITY is REVEALED to us beginning with..

Genesis 1:26 that starts: "And he said: Let us make man to our image and likeness:..".
drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=dr…

Respectfully, notice the plurality: "Let us" and "to our".
IN HOLY SCRIPTURE. the mystery of the HOLY TRINITY is further REVEALED to us in..

The Gospel of St. Matthew 3:16-17 during the Baptism of Jesus:

"And Jesus being baptized.. he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove.. a voice from heaven, saying.. This is my beloved Son.."
drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=dr…

Respectfully, notice the plurality in a different form:

> Jesus - Son of God: "This is my beloved Son"
> Holy Spirit of God: "descending as a dove"
> God the Father: "a voice from heaven"
"In the above verses, the person of Jesus Christ was present, the person of the Holy Spirit was present as a dove, and the person of the Father was present as a voice from Heaven."

IN HOLY SCRIPTURE, the mystery of the HOLY TRINITY is further REVEALED to us in..

The Gospel of St. John 17:1
"These things Jesus spoke, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said: Father, the hour is come, glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee."
drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=dr…

The Gospel of St. John 17:3
"Now this is eternal life: That they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."

drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=dr…
Explicitly:
> Jesus spoke
> He (Jesus) said: "Father"
> He (Jesus) said: "Glorify thy Son"
> He (Jesus) said: "That thy Son may glorify thee"
IN HOLY SCRIPTURE, the mystery of the HOLY TRINITY is further REVEALED to us in an earlier chapter:

The Gospel of St. John 14:16-17
drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=dr…

"And I will ask the Father, and he shall give you another Paraclete, that he may abide with you for ever."
"The spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, nor knoweth him: but you shall know him; because he shall abide with you, and shall be in you."

Jesus speaks and identifies "another Paraclete" and that "He" will abide for ever.
Explicitly:
> Jesus spoke
> He (Jesus) said: "He".. "another Paraclete" (advocate / helper - as Jesus is)
> He (Jesus) said: "He", the Paraclete is "The spirit of truth"
> He (Jesus) said: "The spirit of truth" (Holy Spirit) abides with & in the Father
And, YES: Jesus uses personal pronouns.

AND

IN HOLY SCRIPTURE, the mystery of the HOLY TRINITY is further REVEALED to us in the HOLY SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM.
SACRAMENTS are all OUTWARDS SIGNS by the power of Jesus Christ; you can think of that as done at or by His COMMAND, from His POWER.

Notice the Gospel of St. Matthew 28:18-19
drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=dr…

"And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth."

"Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost"
Explicitly:
> Jesus spoke
> Jesus said: "All power is given to me" (by whom? - by the Father)
> Jesus said: "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (a Ghost is a Spirit).

Jesus actually NAMES the three Persons of the Holy Trinity; he NAMES them.
So, simply put: TO DENY the three Persons of the Holy Trinity is to:

1. DENY GOD THE FATHER, who Himself desired to REVEAL HIMSELF to us as he has done in history and in Holy Scripture.

2. DENY GOD THE SON as second Person of the Holy Trinity.

3. DENY GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.
While a mystery, understanding the mystery should NOT be that difficult.

While there are THREE PERSONS, there is only ONE GOD.

There are other Biblical references and points that could be made; but, between this thread and the links provided this is a credible explanation.
IMHO: SIMILARLY there is only ONE ME.
> I know me, I know myself & can describe me to myself.
> But, my parents know me; but not the same as I know me.
> And, my children know me; but not the same as I know me.

Three different "me"; but ONLY ONE ME.
