👌 advice from a friend on how to make a paper more rigorous & persuasive. Look for evidence that you are wrong!
I really like this point:

- what data would you expect to see if you were wrong?

- try to look for that data.
So it’s not just about marshalling supportive evidence,

But more rigorously, deliberately and explicitly tackling alternative hypotheses.
