Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, died of a death soaked in tragic irony.
On 11 September 1948, gravely ill with tuberculosis and lung cancer, he was flown back to Karachi from Ziarat. Upon landing, there was no proper ambulance ready to receive him. After a humiliating wait, a dilapidated ambulance finally arrived. As fate would have it, the ambulance broke down halfway through the journey, leaving Jinnah, gasping for life under the scorching Karachi sun, stranded on a road amidst traffic and chaos.
For nearly an hour, no backup came. He lay helpless, ignored by the very state he had carved out with so much blood and rhetoric.
By the time a replacement ambulance arrived, it was already too late; he died later that night, abandoned and broken.
Historians, even in Pakistan, often describe his final hours as a national disgrace - a stark, bitter reminder that the architect of Pakistan was consumed by the very dysfunction he had unleashed.
Jinnah's sister - The Momma of the Nation of Jihadi Pakistan.
When I heard this slogan for the first time, I wondered, being from NE and closely lived with people from Manipur, never heard of Manipur wanting Azadi from India. Yes, there was problem with Drugs, AIDS & AFSPA.
Also kept on wondering why do I see similar posts from similar people, so concerned about Manipur when they may have never visited NE ever in their life or has any clue about the problem.
Are they willfully not wanting to see the TRUTH.
Yesterday night while digging, I seem to have found some leads - WikiLeaks.
