This interview with Sen. Burr is worth a read. Some key points from the head of the Senate Intel Committee:

cbsnews.com/news/richard-b…
"I think it's a better understanding of what happened and how coordinated and organized the effort was." (re: the operation against US elections/democratic institutions)
This is about much more than one election. It is about an intelligence op against the US (hence, from a counterintelligence perspective it is "nefarious"). Also, we see the smoke. The intel community sees the fire. Much of the info has come from "intelligence products"
Key point. This intel op against us was not a one-time thing. This is not about Trump. THIS IS ABOUT PUTIN. (Sorry, @DarthPutinKGB)
SSCI investigation is far-reaching & looks to the future. What did Russia do and how? Did they have help? What did we do right and wrong in our response (under both past presidents and the current one)? And what do we need to learn from foreign influence thru social media?
Great detail that some witnesses were willing to talk but wanted to create the perception they were not willing to talk (out of fear? to gain leverage?). So they requested to be subpoenaed.

"They wanted the cover of being compelled," Burr said.
And here is the wilderness of mirrors. We may never know who played whom and how.
And the importance of separating fact from fiction. "There are a lot of false narratives." And I love the last line, bc it's true. We have to remember, Russia was able to do such an op bc we allowed them to.
