im wondering how far the “video games have literally no effect on you” crowd is willing to take it into virtual reality. when little kids are putting magazines into realistic guns and shooting other people in the head in VR with realistic blood will they still not see it?
someone better tell raytheon and the military that video games have no effect on you
this VR simulator called VIRTSIM developed by raytheon for training military and emergency response personnel is extremely similar to VR shooting games that are or will be on the market (pavlov), the tech is just much better, obviously, for now.

posted this a few times but for anyone who actually doesnt get it still, “video games dont make you violent” is a strawman. its not about making u violent, its about the fact that obviously using an HD murder simulator for an extended period of time is going to have [some effect]
whenever i post this stuff i get dozens of cope posts like “yeah i played [x fantasy game] and now i fight dragons lolol”, ur using this to shield yourself from the fact that obviously all of ur hobbies affect your mind, theres no reason violent video games would be the exception
