I want to tell you a story, one that APC supporters and sponsors doesn’t want you to remember or hear about.
This thread is for APC online and offline supporters, bots, and tyranny defenders.
It’s the story of a young man; Bukhari Bello Jega (Bless his soul) #Thread
Like many of you today Bukhari was a strong Buhari supporter, a critic of the GEJ admin; we read his tweets, Buharists RT’ed, like you see happening now.
He wanted change, and believed the Buhari “saint hard-man” posturing will bring the change.
We warned, just like we do now.
He encouraged Buhari even after swearing in, and promoted the little he did.
BTW, Buhari ordered selling of two jets, but none has been sold till date. So he was misled too.
6 months later;12 Dec 2015, something terrible happened; Buhari’s military surrounded Bukhari Jega’s place of worship in Zaria. They came in armored trucks, war formation outside the compound and opened fire on innocent worshippers. Killing over 500 including women and children.
Bukhari caught up inside, cried out to the President he supported, he cried out to the people that RT’d his tweets and liked his Facebook posts; Buhari and Buharists abandoned him that day.
Killing continued until the next morning.
Soldiers burned the whole place down.
Imagine how betrayed Bukhari must have felt that day. Him, his wife and baby girl caught up in that place of worship that day. Hearing gunshots as the army gained entrance to finish them off.
He posted updates as it happened, but no one helped him.
His last post 👇🏽💔
On that day 12-13 December 2015, Bukhari Jega, his wife, his kid and sisters were killed in cold blood, by a leader he elected.
@Bukharijega handle has been silent since then. He is no more.
A chilling moment for everyone with a heart. 😢😢 #ZariaGenocide
They packed their bodies, while looters took their belongings off their bodies.
They were later buried in a secret mass grave that was later discovered by the international community.
They buried a voice that supported them to power without remorse.
No outrage from fellow Buharists, instead they supported the killing, like they support anything today.
More videos from the scene of arguably the greatest atrocity committted by the military of any govt against its own people.
You can also watch the full video on YouTube here :
The saddest part of this was when Buhari himself defended the massacre on live TV. Asking “how can any group block the convoy of Chief of Army staff?”
You can watch the clip here ;
Note that till date, no army officer has been punished for that incident.
Buharists who should mourn the death of one their own, jumped in Buhari’s defense. They claimed Jega’s religious sect was “forming a state within a state”.
What point did they realize this?
This was Buhari seeking the support of the same religious sect before 2015 elections.
I know they will jump on my timeline to insult me for using his death for politics; but after I read through Bukhari’s Jega’s last posts, I realized he would want you to be reminded of his painful death at this time.
He wouldn’t want you to make the same mistakes he made.
The choice you make on Saturday could change your lives forever or end it.
This is not about Atiku, it is about your own safety and well-being.
Insecurity is in many forms; killed by military in protest, killed by terrorists. may we not make the decision that wipes our family.
It’s 3 days to #NigeriaDecides2019 ; and we will have the opportunity to punish this injustice.
I am a Christian, but anyone could be next.
A vote for next level is tantamount to reloading the gun that killed Bukhari Jega and his family; who is the next victim? #LGNWA
