#ANALYSIS Much has been said about young people running for various offices across the country - Ready Or Not?

While a host of them are simply making up the numbers, 3 have stood out remarkably and could win a seat each in the National Assembly. @BankyW @GRVlagos @RinsolaAbiola
We therefore will do a brief analysis of their chances tomorrow as they head to the polls.
@GRVlagos is a 35 year old Architect who ran for Ikeja local government chairmanship two years ago and lost. He is running for a seat in the Senate in the Largest senatorial district in Nigeria #Lagoswest on the platform of @OfficialPDPNig .
He will be running against Senator Adeola @YAYIAdeola of @OfficialAPCNg, a thorough politician who has won elections into the LSHA, the Federal house of representatives and the Senate.

Nothing suggests that the elections will be a walk over for the incumbent and here is why:
Of the 10 local governments where the elections are going to be held, the PDP have control of 5 of those local governments, namely:

It is safe to assume that Mr Rhodes @GRVlagos Will carry these local governments.
Furthermore, even though the voting density in Ikeja is quite low, Ikeja is the base of @GRVlagos and he is making several in roads to win a local government the APC has always won, albeit with small margins. Chieftains like Deji Doherty in ikeja are pushing hard for GRV.
Alimosho, Agege and Mushin are definitely the strong holds of @YAYIAdeola and nothing suggests that he will be losing them. However, @GRVlagos can ride of the momentum of @atiku in those areas to pick up a good number of votes as people usually vote down the ballot.
If @GRVlagos can consolidate on his base, and ride on the @atiku wave in the strongholds of @YAYIAdeola, their is a chance he could pull of a major upset.
In Abeokuta North/ Odeda and Obafemi Owode constituency, @RinsolaAbiola , a former Aide to the The Speaker @YakubDogara and Daughter of the June 12 hero, MKO Abiola, is set to force a major upset in tomorrow's election.
It is worthy to note that she has to cover a total of 38 wards and about 632 polling units. A huge task for a young candidate running on a relatively new party The ADP. However, and unsurprisingly, she stands a very good chance of winning tomorrow and here is why:
1. The incumbent, Hon Kazim, due to the internal crisis during the APC primaries was forced to move to the APM (a relatively unknown party) while the ticket of the APC was given to Olumide Osoba, son of Segun Osoba, a former governor of Ogun state.
This situation will likely split the bulk votes of the APC between the Incumbent and Olumide Osoba, While the fighting within the two factions of the PDP will also split their bulk votes, Leaving @RinsolaAbiola with a huge opportunity to profit from both sides.
@RinsolaAbiola Will also be seeking to pick up votes from from young people in Abeokuta where she is popular amongst the youth. Having schooled in Fed Uni Of Agriculture, and with the college of education, Oshiele in the same axis, she is likely to reap hugely from young voters.
Finally, @RinsolaAbiola is running on a name, MKO Abiola, that wields a lot of influence in Abeokuta North and being a proper 'omoluabi' a significant amount of people will be voting for her in honour of her late Father who is a hero and enigma to many.
In Eti-osa, Lagos, Celebrity turned politician @BankyW is campaigning on a new message of hope. He will however be facing two young candidates, prominent of which is @Jidekoro son of former senator and minister @MObanikoro.
Unfortunately, @BankyW cannot cash in on his youthfulness as the other contestants are equally young, if not younger. It is no suprise that he is running on a message of hope.

But what then are his chances:
The most important factor in favor of @BankyW is that he is running in the most elitist, if not educated constituency in Lagos, where people are likely to vote on policy and character. To that extent the entire contiuency except for Obalende and isale eko, is a battleground.
If he is able to get people in Victoria island 1 and 2, Lekki, Ikoyi, Ajah to come out and vote in their numbers then he could stand a good chance. However @Jidekoro has worked extremely had in that constituency over the last 8 years and has a solid base.
His father's reputation among grassroots in Lagos island and the machinery of the APC might give @Jidekoro an advantage.

All in all, it will prove an interesting contest.
As Nigeria decides tomorrow, out eyes will be on these three candidates to see which one of them is likely to pull an upset tomorrow.
