Georgia’s Lt. Governor (whose 2018 election win remains tainted by 127k + missing votes) lunched w/ the Faith & Freedom Coalition. FFC is partners w/ a religious nonprofit owned by a convicted embezzler that appears to be responsible for two massive voter data leaks in 2015! 1/
/ Convicted embezzler Bill Dallas’s United in Purpose has worked closely with Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition. time.com/4343321/donald…
/ Bill Dallas is a convicted embezzler-turned-Christian whose nonprofit, United in Purpose, appears to be responsible for 2 massive voter data leaks in 2015: 191 million records in the first leak & 54 million in the 2d leak. @VickerySec found these leaks. forbes.com/sites/thomasbr…
/ In August 2016, a cyber researcher discovered that the Georgia Secretary of State’s office under then Secretary of State Brian Kemp (Georgia’s current vendor) had left 6 million voter records exposed online without password protection. cnn.com/2018/08/14/pol…
/ That was the same month that Brian Kemp refused help from DHS to Secure it’s election systems. thehill.com/policy/technol…
/ Four months earlier, Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak had visited Georgia’s Kennesaw University, which housed Georgia’s Election Center at that time. @michellany
/ Georgia’s voting machine vendor—and the one it is determined to use again—is ES&S. @Vickery discovered that ES&S had also left a database of 1.8 million Chicago voter records exposed online w/o password protection. The database was created in 2016. upguard.com/breaches/cloud…
/ Mueller’s indictment shows that Georgia’s election system was targeted by Russia. politico.com/magazine/story…
/ Russia apparently targeted election systems in Illinois too.
/ Bill Dallas (whose United in Purpose nonprofit seems to have caused 2 voter data leaks in 2015) & Ralph Reed (who founded the Faith & Freedom Coalition) are both members of a Religious Right networking group called the Council for National Policy. splcenter.org/sites/default/…
/ Voting machine vendor ES&S (which caused the massive Illinois voter data leak), was funded primarily with money from Council for National Policy co-founder Nelson Bunker Hunt & the family of a prominent early CNP member named Howard Ahmanson. extranewsfeed.com/americas-talib…
/ Guess who else is in the Council for National Policy? The whole Cambridge Analytica crowd: the Mercers (who funded CA), Steve Bannon (CA’s Vice President), & KellyAnne Conway (who consulted for CA). link.medium.com/vAZ7QRM8wU
/ The CNP’s 2014 vision statement states its goal: “to assure, by 2020, policy leadership & governance that restores religious & economic freedom, a strong national defense, & Judeo-Christian values under the Constitution.” splcenter.org/hatewatch/2016…
/ Meanwhile, the inexplicable 127k undervotes in the GA Lt. Governor’s race that Geoff Duncan reportedly won “seemed to specifically happen in black neighborhoods. Even stranger, the black voters’ absentee mail ballots didn’t reflect the drop-off..” theroot.com/exclusive-thou…
/ @CoalitionGoodGv has filed a lawsuit challenging Duncan’s victory in the sketchy Georgia Lt. Governor’s race and seeking to get to the bottom of the missing 127k votes. The trial court dismissed the lawsuit, but the plaintiffs plan to appeal (or have already done so).
/ If you would like to support this lawsuit, here is the donation page for @CoalitionGoodGv. Note that I am not affiliated with the lawsuit or @CoalitionGoodGv. I try to help amplify their work bc I think it’s incredibly important. cc: @MarilynRMarks1 coalitionforgoodgovernance.org/donate/
/ US senator @RonWyden recently posted about the missing votes in the Georgia Lt. Governor’s race as well. The missing votes are indeed a really big deal.
/ BTW, Georgia, which has used paperless (unauditable) touchscreen voting machines since 2002, was the first state to sign into the Convention of States project, which seeks to hold an Article V Convention to amend the US Constitution. #NoConCon redstate.com/diary/buzzbroc…
/ PS. Similar to the voter data leaks caused by ES&S and United in Purpose & the GA Secretary of State’s office, the election vendor that handled Brexit (IDOX) caused a massive voter data leak before the Brexit vote. @StillDelvingH
/ And foreign hackers might have hacked a voter registration site before the Brexit vote as well. reuters.com/article/us-bri…
/ I forgot to explain that Ralph Reed is pals with convicted felon/former voting machine vendor lobbyist Jack Abramoff (also in the CNP) who went to prison after bribing Rep. Bob Ney, who blocked a bill that would have banned paperless voting machines.
/ Here’s a thread that provides sources for post 31.
/ While Bob Ney was bending over backwards to keep voting machines paperless, @HillaryClinton was voicing concern that Republicans might use the paperless voting machines to steal elections. thenation.com/article/how-th…
/ The vendor of paperless voting machines that Reed’s pal, Jack Abramoff, represented was Diebold Election Systems, a company founded by white collar criminals, which hired a convicted embezzler as a Sr. programmer just before the 2000 election. link.medium.com/TIybpAmlxU
/ Georgia was the first state to deploy paperless voting machines statewide. It bought its machines from Diebold in 2002 and still uses them. link.medium.com/TIybpAmlxU
/ Voting machine vendor ES&S was founded by the Diebold president who hired the convicted embezzler. ES&S acquired Diebold in 2009 and took over the Georgia contract. Thus, ES&S is GA’s current vendor. link.medium.com/xp8rAQGlxU
/ As explained in this thread, Brian Kemp and his surrogates are determined to buy new insecure voting equipment from ES&S. All independent IT experts have cautioned against the type of equipment Kemp wants to buy.
/ Georgia Republicans are fast tracking a bill thru the state legislature this week and next to allow the purchase of this dangerous new (barcode) voting equipment. IT experts strongly recommend #HandMarkedPaperBallots instead as a primary voting system.
/ Meanwhile, ES&S has donated $30k to the Republican State Leadership Committee (Brian Kemp was an executive) & recently admitted after prior denials that it has installed remote access software on election management systems in 300 jurisdictions. nybooks.com/daily/2018/11/…
/ Election management systems are centralized computers that program all voting equipment before each election (voting machines, scanners, & ballot marking devices) & aggregate all precinct tallies. So remote access is a huge problem.
/ ES&S won’t identify its 300 remote access jurisdictions, & it is INSANE that Democrats in Congress aren’t talking about this every single day. Or at all. They aren’t talking about it at all. Except for @RonWyden a little bit.
/ This is a 2004 NYT article explaining that the CNP meets three times a year to discuss how to turn the country to the right. “THE 2004 CAMPAIGN: THE CONSERVATIVES; Club of the Most Powerful Gathers in Strictest Privacy” nytimes.com/2004/08/28/us/…
/ Another helpful article about the CNP. revolvy.com/page/Council-f…
/ Mike Pence and Betsey DeVos’s father in law are also in the CNP, as is Wayne LaPierre of the NRA. splcenter.org/sites/default/…
