Hoseok did not start out as a profiler, but went through the training to become a field agent; now a profiler. In a relationship with a tech analyst, Hoseok is calm and considerate. (For those who watch Criminal Minds, he is loosely based on the Jennifer "JJ" Jareau character).

Namjoon graduated from high school at 14 and was well on his way to a lifetime as a college professor when Min Yoongi invited him to take a chance at a different career. (For those who watch Criminal Minds, he is loosely based on the Spencer Reid character).

Taehyung is a former hacker who was offered a job with the FBI to avoid a prison sentence. In a relationship with a field agent in the BAU. Tae works hard to maintain his optimism. (For those who watch Criminal Minds, he is loosely based on the Penelope Garcia character).

Jungkook was recruited but planned on joining the FBI. Skilled at interrogation, likeable, and seen as the golden child, Jungkook is confident, a good listener, and has a great sense of humor.(For those who watch Criminal Minds, he is loosely based on the Derek Morgan character)

Park Jimin is a prostituted exotic dancer. He protects the younger and newer dancers, and tries to help his younger brother, Wooyoung, navigate his life as a young gay man in a strictly Catholic home. Jimin's own experiences with the church are what made him run away.
