Albeit a little late, finally sharing these now. (I had intended to share these on the occasion of Śivarātri!)

Beautiful "pediments" from the "Tribhuvanamahēśvara Dēvasthāna" aka "Banteay Srei Group of Temples", Angkor, Cambodia.

Dedicated to Lord Śiva, this happens to be the only temple in Angkor that was not built by a monarch.
King Rājēṅdravarman II's councellor/philanthropist Yajñavarāha got this beautiful complex constructed in easily workable Red Sandstone.

The temples in this complex are very small relative to other Angkor temples, making them much easier to sculpt more details on the medium used - Red Sandstone, thus earning it a name "Jewel of Khmer Architecture".

Banteay Srei literally translates to "Citadel of Beauty" referring to the details of the decorations the temples are adorned with. The temple is situated on the banks of the river Upper Siem Reap and is oriented in the absolute E-W directions.

A long red mud pathway leads to the temple complex with small shrines on either side. Few entrances are built of Laterite stone, which are an exception.

The pediment with a beautiful portrayal of Gajalakṣmī. Observe the elephants pouring water on the goddess using "kalaśa".

A mesmerizing portrayal of Narasimha slaying Hiraṇyakaśipu.

Vāli-Sugrīva kāḷaga, with Rāma-Lakṣmaṇa seen on the left corner of the pediment.

Sītāpaharaṇa depicted beautifully on of the pediments. Observe how smartly a deer face is included towards the mid-bottom portion of the pediment.
