I'm curious if they let Bruce Ohr comeback and straighten out this testimony. @RepRatcliffe and @Jim_Jordan tag teamed Ohr and had him so twisted up there was no way out of this trap. Pretty comical.
I stood in the back of the courtroom in the 5th Circuit and watched Johnny as a prosecutor fillet witnesses in cross, Johnny is very good at his craft.
In green Johnny lays the trap and actually gives him an out, and Bruce Ohr just jumps in with both feet. I have to think he was so concentrated on trying to protect his wife, he just got completely derailed.
This is just masterful questioning and allowing the guy to dig his own grave.
And how he walked him into whether or not he had given anything to the special counsel was masterful. But he put Wiessmann front and center and made it clear he had an advanced copy of the dossier.
Ohr is so rattled he can't keep the documents straight.
Ohr is a weak link in the group, he'll never stand up under pressure.
Jordan picks up his part and get Ohr on the ropes after Johnny had his head spinning.
Ohr realizes he's toast and just starts playing dumb.
Jordan isn't too bad at this especially not being a trained lawyer. The old wrestling paid attention in debate class I guess.
Ohr has just given up, he knows there is no win out of this mess.
