BREAKING: Samuel Peter Caines, 42, of Paradise is facing eight charges in court in connection to a motor vehicle “snatch and scrap” investigation underway by the RNC.
According to court documents, Caines is facing two counts of stealing a motor vehicle, one from Paradise, one from St. John’s. The charges list two separate victims. @VOCMNEWS
Caines also faces three counts of trafficking stolen property, and one count of possessing stolen property. @VOCMNEWS
Kenneth Harrison, 52, says in 2013, he ordered a doll online for companionship. Not a sex doll. Harrison is on the stand this morning in St. John’s Provincial Court.
He is faces child porn charges after the doll was intercepted by the Canada Border Services Agency in March 2013. @VOCMNEWS
On the stand today, Harrison explained he had a daughter, who died as an infant at six-months of age. Harrison says in 2013, he happened on an article that explained you could order baby dolls that were made to look like a real baby. That got him thinking. @VOCMNEWS
A man and woman accused in connection to an armed robbery at the Circle K location on Freshwater Road in St. John’s are on trial today in Provincial Court. @VOCMNEWS
Police arrested and charged James Glasco, 45, and Amanda Maher, 35, as a result of their investigation. Both face charges of robbery, theft, and court breaches. Glasco is also accused of possession of a dangerous weapon and disguise with intent. @VOCMNEWS
It happened December 11, 2018. The employee who was working at the Circle K at the time testified a woman entered the door and bought a pepsi. He says it happened sometime after 2 a.m., when doors to the storefront were locked. He let her in. @VOCMNEWS
