I might as well do one of these normie memes.

Will go through it slowly but surely.
1) The Cardigans - My Favorite Game

This song has essentially been my life's main theme ever since I first heard it about 20 years go on GT2's intro.

It's also the first music video I ever downloaded from KaZaA when I first got ADSL back in 2002.

2) Kaoma - Lambada

According to my parents, I loved the shit out of this song when I was 3-4 years old, to the point that I'd cry once it was over.

I don't remember that though.

3) King Changó - Confesión

This shit brings be back man, I was so pure, so innocent back then...

4) Placebo - Every You Every Me

What can I say, Cruel Intentions is a guilty pleasure of mine.

5) Natalia Oreiro - Tu Veneno

One from them early high school days when I was not just adjusting to our new life in Caracas, but the whole puberty thing and our parent's divorce

(There's a tweet that has an audio recording of me drunk singing this)

6) Desorden Público - Allá Cayo

Timeless song that gives you a small glimpse of Venezuela's societal woes, now more relevant than ever.

7) Massive Attack - Teardrop

This song is fucking beautiful, nuff said.

8) Kidneythieves - S+M A Love Song

Stumbled upon Kidneythieves when I played Deus Ex IW back in the day.

I've been in love with Free Dominguez's voice ever since.

9) Bon Jovi - It's My Life

I wasn't the most popular or most social in high school (fat Zulian kid & all), but I knew English.

Girls would often ask me for the meaning of songs since they knew jack shit English, this is one of them.

10) Imagine Dragons - Thunder

The boys, Mike's hard, no shirts. #TheGoodLife

All memery aside, the lyrics fucking match my life rn, I'm dreaming of bigger things and I wanna leave my old life behind.

RIP, Big Dog...

11) Globus - A Thousand Deaths

The mix of latin/arab chants, the lyrics, it's a great song.

Reminds me of my first love back in Maracaibo, who was the daughter of Arab migrants.

She could've been Scheherazade, and I could've been her King, alas...

12) E.S. Posthumus - Ebla

Back in my cringy Jedi Outcast machinima days, I wrote an entire choreographic lightsaber duel around this song & using mslaf's fearis incident custom map.

They've always been influential in my storytelling.

13) Texas Kabbott - Back to Mad

If you never saw that Rockman Neo flash animation then you don't know shit about anything.

14) Aqua - Roses Are Red

COME PICK MY ROSES

A song from the times when my life was simple and happier.

The surname of one of my book's characters is taken from Lene Nystrøm.

15) Beck - Beautiful Way

It's not that I ever liked this song, it's just that the fact that it came bundled in Windows ME's files became some sort of inside joke among my friends in 9th grade.

16) Juno Reactor / Don Davis - Burly Brawl

One of my first JK2 mods was one that replaced the duel music with this song.

So many duels were had while jamming to this song.

tfw there will never be another SW game as good as Jedi Outcast/Academy...

17) Garbage - I think I'm paranoid

What can say, I've always loved Garbage and Shirley Manson is probably one of the reasons that I have a redhead fetish when it comes to women lol.

18) Sandy & Papo - El Alacran

Picalo! Picalo! Picalo! Picalo!

RIP Papo :(

19) Juan Luis Guerra - El Niagara en bicicleta

This song is eternal & will always be relevant, mom was very fond of it since she knew the hardships doctor/patients go through our public health system here

And after all that happened with my mom well...

20) Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence

This song is very high up there among my top favorite songs ever, just like Garbage, Depeche Mode is one of them groups I really really love.

21) Chumbawamba - Tubthumping

Unironically, this is a song that reminds me of the good times

A song that reminds me of the better times.

If only I could go back to 1998 and do all over...

22) Shakira - Estoy Aqui

Goddamn, Shakira was fucking kino before she got corrupted and became a corporate product...

23) Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out Of My Head

That dress did things to my peepee, also it came out in the only good year of my high school days, so I conflate this song with those good days.

tfw no Kylie mommy gf

24) WoW - Wolf at the Gates

This is the only song that as a former Horde player makes me jelly af of the Alliance.

It's fucking beautiful, if only WoW had more tracks like this.

25) Rammstein - Du Hast

Them early 00s anime AMVs, them good times in 9th grade.

Everything was so simpler back then...

26) Traci Lords - Fallen Angel

When I was a kid I thought Virtuosity was one of the coolest movies ever, saw it with my parents when we all lived together.

I also felt like I wasn't supposed to look at Russel Crowe's ass but whatever.

27) Garbage - Only Happy When It Rains

I'm not actually happy when it rains nowadays, since power and internet are prone to flicker when that happens lmao

28) Rom di Prisco - Romulus III

Remember when NFS was good? Lol

29) Two-Mix - Rhythm Emotion

>2002
>11pm
>Tune to Cartoon Network
>This plays

Yeah, that's the stuff...

30) Massive Attack - Angel

Pretty much the whole album is gonna be on this list so yeah.

31) Aqua - Cartoon Heroes

If my upcoming novel project ever gets a TV adaptation (a man can dream) then I'd love to slap this on the soundtrack somewhere even if it's just an easter egg/goof scene between the red and pink team members.

32) Los Amigos Invisibles - Sexy

This song means a lot to me, my first kiss, it's from a time when my life was really great

A few months later Chavez began his revolution, we moved to Caracas, it all went downhill from there

If only we hadn't moved...

33) Enanitos Verdes - Lamento Boliviano

Jesus this brings me back to 3rd Grade...

34) Gianna Nannini & Edoardo Bennato - Un'estate Italiana

Italy 90 was a distant memory and yet my dad wouldn't stop listening this goddamn song.

It's fucking hardwired in my brain ever since, it's been over 20 years and I can't unhear it send help

35) Globus - Europa

It's been 7 years and I'm still puzzled as to how was this played in UEFA's Euro 2012 final match and no one paid attention to the lyrics.

How did they got away with it?

36) Immediate - Fatum Plebis

My WoW Paladin's theme, whether I was tanking, healing, or DPSing with good ol' Tendou this shit played in my head when I unleashed my pally power level

37) Kidneythieves - Zerospace

From my edgy RO/weeks before college days,

I named my absurdly complex duping/zero steal exploit tactics in RO master plan after this song.

38) Yu-Ki - Next Level

Kabuto was my gateway drug into Kamen Rider back in 2006 thanks to one of them early chan streams.

Song would get my hyped af.

39) Sophie Ellis Bextor - Murder on the Dance Floor

When I was in 9th Grade a friend and I had this unexplainable joke of saying "DJ GONNA BURN THIS GOD DAMN HOUSE RIGHT NOW" and stepping on the floor like she does in the video.

I was 14 don't ask why.

40) FFVIII - The Man with the Machine Gun

Well no shit, of course I'd put it here since I'm one of the ten or so FFVIII fans in the world.

41) Grendel - Void Malign

When I was a really super ultra tryhard nolife hardcore WoW raider (Burning Crusade) I saw a Brutallus kill video and this song was on it.

It stuck with me ever since.

42) Cinder - Soul Creation

One of the first WoW videos I saw was a Paladin "soloing" Onyxia with this song on it. He doesn't actually solo the boss though, but the song was edgy and cool for me at the time.

Hell, I found the video lol

43) Evanescence - Bring Me To Life

Fuck you, I liked it back in the day.

44) Kenny Loggins - Playing with the Boys

One of the manliest songs ever made, featured in one of the manliest movie scenes ever produced by mankind.

45) David Hasselhoff - True Survivor

I was fucking wasted one night and I sang this for the #MyersTwitter boys, don't think it got recorded though.

46) Hans Zimmer - Gotham's Reckoning

Admit it, you can hear the dialogue in your head.

47) Lou Bega - Mambo No. 5

When I was in 7th Grade our English teacher had the idea of translating a song, this was the winner.

She didn't knew the song & then was outraged by the lyrics so we didn't finished it, I never understood why she got outraged.

48) Ragnarok Online - Zingaro

>I will never go back to 2004 and kill 9,752,420 High Orcs for a meager 1% experience towards level 99/50 as a Knight in Clock Tower.

49) Phantasy Star Online OST - The Frenzy Wilds

There are games in 2019 that wished they had a soundtrack this good.

50) DMC3 OST - Devils Never Cry

I don't think I need to explain this one.

51) Metroid Prime OST - Phendrana Drifts (Depths)

Once upon a time I was learning how to use GTK Radiant on JA, I made a test map in order to learn how to add "derelict" structures as part of the map's skybox.

This was the song I put on it.

52) Garbage - Cherry Lips

I'm pretty sure that this song would have fared better if it was released today instead of 2001. Still, I've always found it catchy.

53) The Cardigans - Lovefool

Another of them classics for me, one that's often featured in my nostalgia-driven playlists.

54) The Cardigans - Erase/Rewind

The first time I snatched an mp3 copy of this song was from a cousin's mp3 cd.

I didn't realized that it had a small record mishap until a few years later lol

55) The Offspring - All I want

C R A Z Y T A X I

56) Masato Nagai - WILD DRIVE

I got some Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh episodes during my early ADSL/KaZaA days and I was blown away by this song, still hype af tbh.

57) Mitsuru Matsuoka - SURPRISE DRIVE

I had put so many things I enjoy aside given all that we went through over the past years, Kamen Rider included. Drive was my post-hiatus series and part of my post-depression cheer up.

All we need is drive indeed.

58) Mami Ayukawa - Z Toki wo Koete

Well, duh.

Also, I WANNA HAVE A PURE TIME, EVERYONE'S A NOBLE MIND and BELIEVING A SIGN OF ZETA BEYOND THE HARD TIMES FROM NOW are related af to irl rn tbh.

59) Killer Cuts - Let's do it now

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Parents only had money for one vidya at the time, I had to choose between KI and Super Mario RPG, went with the latter.

A cousin would let me listen to his Killer Cuts cd from time to time tho.

60) Killer Cuts - The way you move

Peak 90's vidya OST.

This game (and it's OST CD) came out just as our lives began a prosperous but brief 3 year happy period.

That type of happiness that we had is what I yearn for my brother and I today.

61) Gloria Estefan - Turn the beat around

Ehh, cousin had The Specialist OST (in a time before the internet) and I liked this song a lot as a kid.

62) Zap Mama - Iko Iko

One of the comfiest songs from my early teenage years.

63) Garbage - The trick is to keep breathing

Even though the lyrics refer to a woman, they hit too close home given all the stress I went through over the past weeks

Thankfully all was solved and I can focus all of my efforts in surviving/escaping/sotn.

64) E.S. Posthumus / Luna Sans - Sollente

Song is simply immaculate and beautiful, the faux Latin derivative they created for the album makes it even more amazing.

One of the deities in my book's lore is named after it as a homage to E.S. Posthumus.

65) Globus - Doomsday

One of the best "ITS HAPPENING" tracks I've had the pleasure of jamming to.

66) The Prodigy - Firestarter

RIP you madman...

67) Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal

All controversies aside, his music is timeless. I have no qualms in saying that my grandmother, mother, and one of my older cousins were huge fans of his music.

There's still some tracks saved on my mom's phone...

68) Linkin Park - Somewhere I belong

Don't act like you never listened to Linkin Park if you were a teenager during the early 00s.

Plus, any music video with gundamus in it makes it 100x cooler.

69) Breaking Benjamin - Blow me Away

Once Halo: The Captain King collection arrives on pc @RatDadJoe and I should record a karaoke of this song.

70) Moby - We're all made of stars

Song and video are so bad that it became the subject of a long running joke through 9th Grade.

That really was the only good high school year I had...

71) Celia Cruz - La vida es un carnaval

A real Cuban treasure, grew up listening to her music since my grandmother was a huge fan of hers.

An example of living your life to the fullest.

72) FLOW - Colors

JIBUN WOOOOOOOOOOOO

Damn, Code Geass was a wild ride.

73) Coeur de Pirate - Adieu

tfw no Quebecois gf

74) Spice Girls - Spice up your Life

Fuck you, I liked them as a kid.

Also Ginger Spice was my waifu.

75) Ricky Martin - Livin la Vida loca

C'mon, it's a classic catchy af from simpler times.

The Shrek 2 version is superior tho.

76) Tears for Tears - Everybody wants to rule the world

I've muttered this song so many times in my life lol

77) Kamen Rider Den-O - Climax Jump (Den Liner Form)

Den-O was such a huge hit in Japan that the OST has so many variations.

This is the most wholesome version of that song, and it really used to lift my spirits when I was at my lowest point in College

78) Alejandro Fernandez - Yo Nací para Amarte

My mom was seriously in love with this man & his voice, when I was 9 I went with my uncle and bought her this album using my savings (which came from her money)

Her car still has CDs with his greatest hits.

79) Aqua - Lollipop (Candyman)

Another of them songs that remind me of better times, right before a single crucial choice changed everything for the worst.

80) White Town - Your woman

I only had two of those "Now That's what I call music" CDs when I was young, this one was included in one of them.

81) Agent Provocateur - Red Tape

I must've first heard it on that Jackal movie.

82) INXS - Elegantly Wasted

Shit brings me back to my '97 Maracaibo days, you know, when I was a happy kid and all that.

83) Depeche Mode - Walking in my shoes

A song that encompasses how I felt a few years ago.

84) ERA - Ameno

There used to be an ad here that used this song back in the late 90s, that's where I first heard it.

I can't even remember what the ad was for, all I can remember is the song.

85) Enya - Anywhere is

This is what beautiful music should be, not that regurgitated autotune reggaeton garbage shit normies listen to around these parts.

inb4 it sounds like Yoshi's Island.

86) Mecano - Stereosexual

The song that spawned so many jokes and bants. Tells the story of a man that wakes up, thinks he slept with a man & is about to embrace his homosexuality when he finds out it was a girl all along

aka @soulofkab's Spanish theme

87) Los Amigos Invisibles - Cuchi

Venezuela's proto "Ma'am, pls spare sum coochie" song.

88) Garbage - The world is not enough

One of the best Bond themes imo, even though I like most of them, plus it's signed by one of my favorite bands? Sign me up!

89) Prince - Trust

The only Price song that I can say I unironically like and it's because it was on that Batman movie.

90) Origa - Rise

Another one lost to cancer...

There's some faint GiTS inspiration on my novel and this song is largely responsible for it.

91) Hyde - Countdown

I played the shit out of Ouendan 1 & 2, that's when I added this song to my playlists.

91) Garbage - As heaven is wide

Real Gran Turismo hours, who here?

92) Mobile Suit Gundam OST - Gallant Char

Shouldn't come as a surprise, this was my ringtone for the longest time, wake up alarm too.

93) Alejandro Sanz - El alma al aire

Guilty pleasure song.

It was constantly played on my local supermarket for the longest time, so it does get stuck on you when you're doing a bigass line for the nth time.

94) Mecano - Hijo de la luna

One of them "songs with a plot" that's actually beautiful on its own way.

95) Power Rangers Turbo theme

I know it wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but nothing got a 10yr old Kal as hyped as when I first heard this song on Fox Kids.

Yet again, a memento of simpler, better, and happier times.

tfw no Divatox mommy gf

96) Michael Jackson - Billie Jean

This is a powerful subtweet.

97) Eros Ramazzotti - Fuego en el Fuego

When I was 11-12 or so, one of my mom's best friends gifted me this cd because I have an italian surname, so I must like Ramazzotti or something

It was a nice gesture of her. I still talk to her form time to time

98) Garbage - When I Grow Up

Not much to say, Version 2.0 is one of my favorite albums ever.

99) Massive Attack - Inertia Creeps

Mezzanine is one of my top albums of all time as well.

100) Casey Edwards feat. Ali Edwards - Devil Trigger

Duh, if you can palliate depression through music, this one has helped me immensely in that regard.

101) Mel - Red Fraction

I've never seen Black Lagoon, but one of my RO friends sent me the song and it became part of my college playlist (on one of them USB mp3/radio/etc players that everyone had)

102) Garbage - Special

Again, Version 2.0 is one of my favorite albums ever.

103) Papa Roach - Blood Brothers

Real Tony Hawk hours.

104) Shakira - Ciega, Sordomuda

Another one from when Shakira was kino and wasn't just yet another corporate product.

Embassy of Japan in Mexico sent a note to a Mexican governor regarding the public airing of Dragon Ball Super's last two eps, asking to suspend it if its illegal because of Toei's author rights.

Where were you when Dragon Ball became the subject of a diplomatic note?
From my personal work experience:

1-Toei had to send a letter (i'm inferring to Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs) that said "REEEE MEXICANS ARE GONNA WATCH DRAGON BALL ILLEGALY PLEASE DO SOMETHING YAMEROOO"

2-Japan's Foreign Affairs issues a letter to their Embassy in Japan
That requests the Embassy to contact said regional governor because toei is mad as fuck

3-Embassy does as instructed

4-Someone in the Governor of Coahulia's office receives a letter from the Japanese Embassy...about fucking Dragon Ball

5-lulz ensues
