Modi won bcs he convinced great no of Indians that he would destroy political correctness & bring economic development.
His victory cannot be broken down into Enlightened Angels who voted for Congress and the so called Demonic, fanatics, idiots who voted for him.
But the reality is, most of these are the most successful established people of India who are sick of pandering to this hate group.
Perhaps for the 1st time, ppl didn't vote for their own selves. He won not bcs folks thought he'd bring bread to their tables. He won bcs folks were fed up of begging & staying incapable of pulling themselves out of their misery.
Modi was a Sevak and a Soldier for them. For many he was also just the philosopher-mercenary India needed.
And I see no reason why those who voted him in, the last time, won't go for him again.
