1/ My daughter and I were waiting at Shoppers Drug Mart for a prescription. Along comes an woman with a senior, who sat next to us.

We were making small talk when the woman's daughter asked her why her bank card was getting declined. Of course she didn't know. #Parenting #yeg
2/ Some conversation goes back and forth and it's revealed she went out to dinner with a friend and paid because it was her birthday. The daughter, dumbfounded, asks how she intends to get her meds now? She's getting kind of loud and is obviously frustrated. #Parenting #yeg
3/ The senior lady honestly looks like she's about to cry. It's heartbreaking. Truly it is.

Suddenly my daughter pulls me close and whispers "rak attack..." and smiles. I shoot her a nod and she asks the elderly lady if there isn't something she could help with? #Parenting #yeg
4/ The elderly lady thanks her, but declines because it's not "our problem" to help with. She said she should have known better, but thought "she was ok this month".

My little ceo tells both ladies that we do random acts of kindness and we'd like to help out. #parenting #yeg
5/ The lady's daughter says no one helps others to the tune of $85 just out of the goodness of their hearts. My daughter? She's all like: HOLD MY ICE TEA!!

She asks for my wallet, goes to the till and pays. Puts my card back in the wallet and gives it back. #Parenting #yeg
6/ My daughter smiles at her and says:

"Now you're one of our #RAKAttack victims! I was going to buy some art crafts with that money, but I can wait until next week."

She continues "We do "random acts of kindness attacks! Everyone we help out is our victim!"" #Parenting #yeg
7/ She's beaming ear to ear. She shows the ladies some of the pictures we've taken doing #rakattacks: instagram.com/p/1lEG_BqKZt/?…

The ladies go to thank us and my daughter puts up her hand: "This is what everyone should do. No thanks needed. Just have a nice day." #Parenting #yeg
8/ The eldest woman looks at me and says "You have a very special daughter. You should be very proud. Very, very, proud."

I say I am proud and we go our separate ways, and not even a name was exchanged. This was at roughly 4:30 and my daughter is still smiling. #Parenting #yeg
