Well this is a victory for Black and Brown people!

Erika Almirón confronted the Philly Commissioner's office about the fact that our voting machines can't handle spelling Latinx names with their proper accents in a time of record political engagement.

And she won!
Although Latinx candidates are most directly affected, so are those whose names include hyphens, apostrophes and other non-standard characters.

These are not luxuries or extras. Its their NAMES.

This is literally about spelling people's names correctly as they run for office.
