Unions ARE voluntary

However they are also the ones who absorb the cost of fighting for EVERYONE'S rights at the job

Unions cannot just bargain for themselves. The work they do, the resources they commit, it must benefit every worker

Why should everyone benefit while few pay?
So the idea is that ALL workers should enjoy the pay rate, employee protections, benefits, etc. that only exist because the people in the unions fought for them, but they should also be exempt from supporting those unions?
An equitable answer would be to allow people to not pay for unions, but then have to work under whatever conditions were in place before unions got involved.
