Good job done by @josevalim and the Elixir Community in adapting Erlang to our time.
Elixir and Erlang are amongst the Top Paying Technologies either globally or in the United States.
The graph that shows "How Technologies Are Connected" shows Erlang connected to Elixir. And that's all. No mention to Ruby. Probably that's is the reality. Now that Elixir has grown it is much less related to Ruby and Rails.
