/ If I attend scenes where the offender showed a tremendous capacity for violence...against his wife and children. To the extent he broke her jaw in an alcohol fuelled rage. He then attacks me with a bottle, I do the necessary and complete a huge file for court.
/ I then attend court, state that I would complain if any submissions his defence wanted were made. Likewise expressing my deepest concerns. You'd think a system that is "Second to none" would take take the victim into account, including the impact statement...cont.,
/ Sadly the offender walked with a suspended sentence. But worry not, I got him 3 days after.
/ Take this to another degree. Whilst supervising a team of AFOs, I dressed in civilian attire. Innocent Israeli children of tender years, women and men were going to board El-Al flights.
/ My role was slightly different, hence I hunted those conducting hostile reconnaissance, profiling individuals utilising Tactical Deceipt. Thankfully, the team and I stopped many carrying out the aforementioned practice.
/ If I could go low-tech to high-tech to disrupt individuals and groups I enjoyed the fact people were safe. I'm sure this resonates with all armed forces personnel, be they serving or veterans, likewise our depleted UK Police force.
/ For matters I won't go into, both @COLRICHARDKEMP and those who swore the oath know exactly what foreign fighters are doing. It is our system that is broken. Historical and recent perverted court decisions show this to be the case.
/ To simply say "Welcome back" to those that have killed, maimed and tortured locals and coalition forces, shows we need a major speedy review of laws. It's akin to the heroes of The Battle of Danny Boy and elderly Northern Ireland troops.
/ Sadly, in the UK, we have a class system that makes people feel like inferiors. Nobody has a superior. The courts I never feared, after all I was the evidence gatherer, it was for the jury and the judges to accept a case was proven beyond all reasonable doubt!
