Some predatory "scientific" journals will accept anything.
This issue features the long-awaited paper by Yosemite Sam: "Re-Examining the Genetic Bottleneck: Atavistic Regression in Acquired Traits Affects the Outcome for Many Subspecies at the Allelic Level"
The paper also has a helpful video, in which Dr. Sam demonstrates genetic bottlenecks, explains the case of the Florida Man hominid, and demonstrates the application of Atavision.
(Unfortunately, Twitter does not let me include the link)

The same "Acta Scientific Pharmaceutical Sciences" issue includes the latest piece by @NuclearCard (HT: @Thatsregrettab1 ).
Link - again - does not work, but google: "The FDA, HHS, Sestamibi Redistribution and Quantification"
It is not a science paper but a very long lament (20 pages) about that the FDA and the rest of the world is not interested in his theories. It has copies of emails.
It also talks about rulers, SUV's, his appearance on 20/20, and 30 red balls. It is a lot to take in.
The piece has several interesting figures that one would not often see in a peer reviewed paper. Figure 12 features a sparkler, Figure 13 a ruler and a shoe on a scale, and Figure 14 is a cartoon.
And 35 of the 75 citations are his own papers.
One of Fleming's co-authors has 2 other papers in this issue of Acta Scientific Pharmaceutical Sciences. One is called "Therapeutic Effect of an Atomic Model of Family on Bringing Peace in the Family - The Spousal Harmony and Children’s Good Physical and Mental Health"
It is full of "peer-reviewed" scientific pearls such as "The basic concept of God’s recipe of creation is - Something in the center and Something in the orbit. "
(Note: I am not trying to make fun of religion here).
"A preliminary small pilot research study was conducted in
twenty five families. Eighteen families followed the atomic model.
No divorce and no mental health problem of the child occurred in
these eighteen families (72%)."
Here is an earlier paper by him "Therapeutic Action of Electromagnetic Energy of the Human Mind", with "EME-hm plays a significant role in explaining all life events
of human from conception to death."
Of note, the author of these papers is on the Advisory Board of this journal.
Other intriguing titles in this journal:
"Energetic Pollution-The Unseen Enemy. Can Frontier Science Counteract It?"
"Ear Surgery: From Dream to Reality "
"Nature’s way: Treats the Cause rather than the Symptom"
"Risk of Adverse Drug Reactions in Older Adults - in the Elderly"
I cannot quite wrap my brain around this title:
"The Fermented Horse Milk Can As an Immune Stimulant Pili Sub Units of S. flexneri Protein Conjugated With Ctb in Mice "
It's fair to say that Acta Scientific's claim "Our goal of performing a comprehensive peer review system is to publish only the research results that are suitable for a scientific journal" is a bit of an overstatement. Unfortunately, many unexperienced researchers believe it.
