Here is the AGM 154 missile approach and strike on the north tower. They blurred out the area in between the building and the towers to hide the missile and edit in an airplane later.

This shows how the incendiaries bombs struck the tower. Some went off course and hit high and wide. You can see the separate smoke plumes from individual impacts.

This is why the building blew apart. It was basically one massive conductor for high energy particles. The steel columns that were anchored to the bedrock were hit with the energy being release from the laser fusion device spreading throughout the entire structure.
The energy could be spread throughout each floor, the basement and up the center elevator shafts.
The building was being steadily pulsed with high energy particles until the entire steel skeleton and exterior were at the breaking point. Then one final pop of energy causing the atoms to accelerate to nearly the speed of light and boom!
Here are the the floors and ceiling trusses. and the roof of the building that could distribute the high energy particles coming up from the center to the roof, out through this matrix and down the sides, back through the ceilings and floors. Imagine the heat inside for people.
