@ahindu_ @VarunReddy969 @Sameemaildropcc So the Hindus who created several 100 languages, several crores of books, had deep knowledge of astronomy, science, architecture, were masters of philosophy failed to coin a word for something that forms the basis of their society? And the mlechhas managed to create one in theirs
@ahindu_ @VarunReddy969 @Sameemaildropcc Ancients spoke about purvapaksha. Before you use a mlechha word to describe something you have, maybe consider what meaning they coined it for. 90% of the time, its not a match. Just like dharma is not a religion.
@ahindu_ @VarunReddy969 @Sameemaildropcc What we have is not patriarchy. Its a much more complex and nuanced concept that is unique to our civilization and therefore words coined by westerners who are limited to their worldview like a frog in the well cannot describe it.
@ahindu_ @VarunReddy969 @Sameemaildropcc An essential element of how mlechhas describe and envision patriarchy, is lack of agency, and suppression of anyone who doesn’t directly earn. Such was not the case in our society. Even when women stayed at home, they were never nameless, voiceless punching bags. They had agency
@ahindu_ @VarunReddy969 @Sameemaildropcc So one must be cautious when they borrow foreign words to describe one’s own systems because we needlessly invite flying arrows, because we shoved ourselves into enemy’s paradigm, rather ignorantly.
