@PChidambaram_IN 1. This series is about - Mystery of Shanmugam’s death —who was Close to #LTTE & This Shanmugam, was supposed to have all vital informations about Murder Of Rajiv ji ... as he was providing the killers all logistical support in Tamil Nadu for Execution Of #RajivG 😒
@PChidambaram_IN 2. #Shanmugam was arrested on 17 th July 1991 by SIT & it’s believed that he was cooperating with the SIT to unearth huge amounts of explosives and communication equipment & in disclosing names of People involved- Who were responsible for Killing #RajivG 🧐
@PChidambaram_IN 3. #Shanmugam, an important witness & collaborator in this case who was actually cooperating with SIT ... suddenly escaped from SIT's custody and was found hanging the next morning .. few yards away from the place where he was being interrogated 😳!
4. The SIT's version was that - #Shanmugam had his dinner brought by his uncle Seetharaman around 9 p.m. on July 19 at Traveller's Bungalow in Vedaranyam where he was being held. Then under pretext of washing his hands, he went to backyard accompanied by a guard & ran away 🤔!
5. As per SIT - Shanmugam disappeared in the dark by scaling the compound wall & leaving behind his khadi dhoti and white shirt 🤔!

Next morning his body was found hanging from a tree in a nearby park. A blue lungi was found at the spot 🤔
6. The post-mortem report, taking note of the saliva, emission of semen and stools, declared it a suicide 😒
a) There was no rope mark or bruise on the victim's neck which the rope would have positively left if he was alive at the time of hanging 🤔
b)The tongue wasn't protruding.

c) The face was not congested with a rush of blood. And the eyes had not popped out if he was hanged.

d) The only way he could have hanged himself was by climbing the tree, putting a noose around his neck and jumping , which seemed unlikely 🤔

Biggest Question was that the Rope Which #Sanmugam used for hanging him self was 14 feet long. 🤔
Where did he get Such long rope after running away from captivity of SIT ... in that hour of night 😳!!

So it looked like - He was hanged ( dead or alive ) by someone else 🤓
On 19 th July- This ‘Important Witness ‘in #RajivMurderCase #Sanmugam was supposed to be Guarded by- 1 DIG, 2 SPs and more than 20 armed policemen & still he escaped😆!

Did #Sanmugam escape & hanged himself or was he Murdered by Those -Who were scared of getting Exposed 😳?
10. In those days few Newspapers wrote a detailed investigative report on #Sanmugam & the #Mystery Of his death 😌!!
The facts can be verified online too 😠

It seems the officials of that #SIT knew - Who Killed #Sanmugam & Why 🧐

End !!
As Last Tweet on - #Sanmugam Case -the then Union Home Minister S.B. Chavan had said- Govt. is determined to get at the root of the incident 🤔
For this purpose, the then CBI's additional director was to be holding an inquiry 😌!

The report of that enquiry never came 🤣🤣
